Made the best of it
Communication is key, and preferably before the stay, is most beneficial. We made the best of our stay, as this was not a vacation, but a passing of a loved one. This was listed as an apartment, which is inside of a hotel. Now I did not expect room service, but there was no indication that not one towel was inside the place. A beach towel was to be used for poolside and or showering, that is obtained from the front desk services, and can be frequently exchanged out. We did have to purchase a hand towel and washcloth from a local store. The bed was comfortable and pillows didn’t turn into pancakes, which was a relief. The place is spacious and the balcony was a nice place to relax, at the end of the day. Any other discrepancies I may have had may not be there for the next persons booking, however I do know now that I would not pick a place that isn’t refundable prior to the trip and needs previous reviews.
