Great stay

Property was as listed. Great communication with Host. We had everything we needed. Would definitely book again. Parking during the day was easy to find, but it was more difficult at night when we’d return from dinner, but that would be expected in most areas of Chicago.

Very disappointing.

One word. Roaches. Misleading listing advertised onsite parking, but check in instructions indicated street parking. Not the same thing. Very ill-equipped. Lacked basic needs like any kind of food storage-no foil/cling wrap. No basic seasonings like salt and pepper. No ice or way to make ice. Glass kitchen table but no glass cleaner. Very few dishes-2 dinner plates, 3 bowls, 3 coffee cups, 3 forks and few spoons and knives. (Though there was a full set of very dull chefs knives). Glasses were melamine. It’s and pans were old and warn. No bottle opener. Check in instructions indicated running more than one appliance would trip fuse. Bathroom sink backed up. The name of the host was listed on several properties and it appears he does not own these properties. We’ve stayed in many VRBO’s since it has been around and this by far was the absolute worst experience. Usually we are blown away but this honestly has ruined VRBO for us.
