Lakeside Cabin with private lakeshore access.

Welcome to our lakeside retreat. Escape from the world at this idyllic cabin on the shore of Lough Mask. Our cabin is surrounded by beautiful views of the mountains and the lake. It is situated in the middle of a working livestock farm and has private access to the lakeshore, which is literally a stones throw away. A perfect place for nature lovers, hikers, anglers, and cyclists. Our cabin is cosy,private, and makes for a relaxing stay as a couple or alone. 5km from shops, pubs and restaurants.

The space
The cabin has a small kitchenette with an electric hob, small oven, kettle, toaster, fridge, and a Nespresso coffee machine. The cabin is fed water via a mountain spring and is safe to drink. There is a small bathroom with a sink, toilet, and a shower which uses gravity instead of a pump, so the only noise is the water. The cabin has one king size bed which overlooks the lake. There is no TV but there is a very good Wi-Fi connection. The outdoor covered area has a two seater reclining couch, a gas barbecue, and a hammock which can be mounted in two positions.

Guest access
The cabin is located at the end of a long driveway. There is no other guest accommodation on site. The cabin and outdoor dining/relaxation area are yours and yours alone. Guests are welcome to explore the lakeshore and the mouth of the nearby river. There are mountains a short walk away through our land which are a great place for a hike and to get a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape.

Other things to note
This is a working livestock farm and there is also a huge variety of wildlife around. For these reasons there is strictly no pets allowed and no loud music after dark. If you have a boat or kayaks then please feel free to bring them, there is access to launch them. The cabin is small and there is a strict two person limit. The area is very secure and there is no need to worry about security of bicycles or boats or anything like that. I can also provide private access/mooring for anglers on Lough Corrib if needed.
