ABOUT THE REGION;
Gumusluk,
This peaceful village is one of the oldest settlements on the peninsula. It has modest restaurants, hostels and motels, but the village has not expanded; Because this is officially an archaeological site, it is not allowed to do anything that will change the natural appearance or to dig up the grounds.
This status was issued in order to protect the ancient Mindos site, part of which is under the village of Gümüşlük. Mindos, an original Lycian city, is a few kilometers southeast of here. In the 4th century BC, King Mausoleum decided to build a new city of Mindos and moved all the people of the city to their new homes. A hundred years ago, a theatre and a stadium were among the ruins worth seeing, but later on, some of the institutions and some buildings were gradually dismantled to be placed on the walls, so there is not much to see in their places.
If one walks for ten minutes to the bay northeast of Gumusluk, one can see a buried wall jutting out into the sea from the side of a slope. Since the archaeological status of the site prevents diving with tubes into the sea, snorkeling can reveal many more walls and an ancient breakwater. Those who come here by boat will want to anchor near the island from the east side of the inlet, so as not to bump into the underwater ruins.

Located in Dereköy on the Gumusluk road, our villa is located on a large land covered with olive trees, bougainvillea and flowers. Villa Leila is a 2-storey stone-built building with a pool in the garden for 4 people, 1 living room + 2 rooms, built in a traditional style. It is located in a place that is away from the noise, intertwined with nature, but easy to reach the leading attractive holiday resorts of Bodrum.
The dining table and sitting area on the terrace overlooking the pool provide our guests with the opportunity to have a pleasant time.
Our villa has a security alarm system and a safe.
