Tonto's Teepee is a professionally decorated custom-built log cabin with cathedral ceilings, stained glass windows, wooden blinds, and hand carvings throughout this Mountain cabin. It boasts a wonderful fieldstone gas fireplace in the living room and master suite. Enjoy a game of chess or checkers on the hand crafted game table. Check out the fireplace in the master bedroom. You can take a whirlpool tub bath along with viewing the stars at night! Enjoy the view from the paddle back chairs on the deck or your picnic table for outdoor meals. There is a gas grill and a picnic table on the deck for dining outdoors. The master suite has a king size bed and there is also a queen sleeper in the living room if extra sleeping arrangements are needed. The hot tub is private on a screened in porch. Close to all the attractions, Tonto's Teepee is truly a Native American experience so book your reservations today. No smoking and no pets allowed.

Ok place

I usually do not make comments but if i was booking this cabin I would want to hear this. We had a family of raccoons in the attic our entire week. We called and complained our 2nd day and nothing was done to remove them. They did give me a 1 day refund for all our troubles but when your trying to relax and their are constant clawing and scratching in the attic its just hard to get super comfortable. We had to leave the garbage inside the cabin because the raccoons would get into them at night when left outside. The hot tube is very old and is either super hot or super cold with no digital controls. The mattress is very old and super lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom had black algae growing in door and the water pressure was very weak. There is a large bathtub but not enough hot water to use it. There is no mountain view from the back porch. I would have booked a different cabin if I would have known about these items. If these items where taken care of Im sure it would be a relaxing place to stay.

First cabin experience

If you're looking for a time with nature, and the animals then this is for you. Because, you are in the mountains! Be prepared for narrow winding roads, up and down the mountain. The cabins is nice and laid out just like the pictures inside. More accurate pictures of the outside surroundings need to be on the website. Aunt Bugs personal were very helpful, and made check in and out very easy. Top notch employees!
