This modern Tybee beach house features an open Great-Room design and is located at the south end of Tybee Island close to the Atlantic Ocean beach, the Back River (Tybee Creek) and "downtown" Tybee with shops, restaurants and bars, the Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion, and the Tybee Island Marine Science Center. So, play on the beach, bring your water sports gear, or rent some while you're here, and enjoy the many fun water activities. Other activities, shopping and restaurants are available at the north end of the island, too, which is just a short drive or bike ride away.

All reservations canceled 48 hours or more from the booking date are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Reservations canceled for any reason within 60 days of the date of arrival will result in forfeiture of the RENTAL DEPOSIT (50% of the original rental rate plus all taxes and fees). Reservations canceled within 15 days of the date of arrival will result in forfeiture of the entire rental amount, including all taxes, fees, and rental deposits.

Memorial day with kids and their friends.

Clean and comfortable. Great spaces to hang and relax. Quiet, but steps from the heart if Tybee.

Fabulous family house!

The house is comfortable and well equipped! I asked if there was any beach gear and was told no but there are many beach chairs and sand toys. Wish I had know I would not have packed ours. Also, didn’t know there was a high chair like seat or a pack-n-play, also things we would not have packed. Kitchen is fully stocked with many things not listed. Wished there had been a gate at the bottom and top of the stairs. Take an extension cord and fan for the kid’s bunk room. The inside and outside are beautiful, so close to the beach!! Loved that there was a garage fir both cars as we were there when Idalia came through and our cars were protected and safe! Highly recommend this house!!!!!!!

Could Easily Be A 5-Star Property

This property could easily be a 5-star property if not for several minor issues of cleanliness and maintenance. None of these concerns are a big deal in isolation, but when together point to a cleaning issue. Housekeeping is not performing their duties in an acceptable manner. A half bag full of chips and a half bottle of water were found behind the love seat cushion. There was a filthy, unwashed pot in one of the kitchen drawers. The upstairs, master bathroom had 1-2 ants appearing on each day of our 4-night visit. We discovered the garbage disposal did not work on our last night. My spouse rather stupidly cleaned out a whole bunch of glass from it using her hands. We needed to unplug the washing machine on one occassion to reset it as it would not fill. The reset worked fine. It was cold and we could not locate the thermostat for the first couple of days. It was hidden behind the open master bedroom door and set at 72 degrees. We cannot comment on the jetted tub as we did not use it. We had to purchase batteries for the TV remote in one of the main level bedrooms. The only other issue is not the fault of housekeeping or anyone for that matter. In order to access living quarters one must climb stairs. Ditto for the master bedroom. We never thought to look into this, but will from know on. One of us has hip and knee mobility problems. Otherwise, the place is nice. The location is excellent. The walk to the beach is probably 5 minutes, to the back river fishing pier 2.

Fun stay

Under the beds we found stuff and was obvious they were not cleaned under Ask to recycle but you have to take the recycles to another location- would think there should be something at the house as when your on vacation you don’t want to have to take the recycle elsewhere Seems you have to do most the clean up and I feel for what you have to pay you should not have to do most the cleaning Location was great as a short walk to the beach

Great Home

Stayed here with some friends and babies and it was a wonderful place for littles. The house was basically baby proof so you didn’t have to worry about the children falling down steps or getting into anything they shouldn’t. It was also within walking distance of a couple of the beaches and several stores and restaurants. Definitely recommend!

Family Beach trip

Enjoyed the accommodations. Location was great, close enough to beach to walk with the children but far enough to miss the huge crowds when they blocked off the streets. Kitchen equipped with alot of cook and bakewarewhich made family meals easy to prepare for 10 people. Would definitely stay here again.

Tybee Beach Hone

We loved the house, and we would rent it again. It was clean, roomy, and comfortable. It is located a few blocks from the south end of the beach. It is in walking distances to the pier, restaurants, shopping, and more. The only complaints are the sheets did not fit the bed in one of the rooms, and the vines (covering the house and porch) need pruning. We loved it!

Home Away from Home

We stayed at this property and had a wonderful time! The house was clean, nicely decorated and very cozy!! The location of this house is ideal and close to stores, restaurants and churches. It is also a short walk to the amazing pier and beaches. I highly recommend this property for a family gathering and an opportunity to enjoy Tybee Island!

Perfect location and beautiful home

We stayed here for a week as a family of four (2.5 year old and 6 month old) and it was perfect! My husband worked remotely for the week and needed fast reliable internet and said the wifi here was excellent. Clean house and very comfortable beds. The master bedroom is gorgeous! We had dinner on the porch every night and had fun playing in the garage space while we grilled (the house has cornhole and our toddler biked around the flat space). The location is ideal! We could walk to the inlet/river beach in like 3 minutes or the main beach in like 5 mins. Around the corner from a cute coffee shop and literally a couple minutes to the Main Street shops and restaurants. Despite being so close to everything the house was in a quiet and quaint neighborhood area and right off the 2nd Street bike path. We loved it! The screened in porch was the only part of the house that wasn’t very nice in terms of the comfort of the furniture or cleanliness in my opinion. Also as a heads up, if you want to plug anything in in the bunk bed closet room you need to bring an extension cord to reach into the master bedroom. We put the baby in that room and it worked perfectly.

Cute house, close to river side beach

The property is clean and comfortable. Even as a large family, we fit comfortably. The bunk bed that they show is in a closet next to the upper floor main bedroom....it's small but my little boys loved it. The property is very close to two beach accesses, on river side of the island. Just an fyi for planning - -the place is stocked with kitchen utensils but almost no pantry items -- only salt, pepper, and coffee filters. We had a great time exploring the island and Savannah.

Amazing vacation rental, but be a few things you should know!

This place is amazing. So great to hang on the big porches and have family meals at the giant table. Great layout, perfect location by lots of beach entrances, nicely stocked, so clean and inviting. Two things to be aware of: One, the top room is crazy bright because of the lack of window treatments. We reached out before we rented the place and asked about window treatments (bc our son needed a dark place to nap and my husband needs pitch-black darkness to sleep) and they assured us that there were window treatments... Nope. There's no way to get that room dark. Bring eye masks! And, two, the hot tub isn't functioning (no water in it). But other than that, it's great! They had toddler accouterments and all kinds of useful things to cook big meals with. Would definitely stay here again (just without the hopes of sitting in a hot tub and/or sleeping without eye masks!).

Relaxing and Convenient

We had a group of 8 people visit this property for NYE. The house was clean and checking in was very easy! We all enjoyed our time. We like to cook when we travel and some of the pots and pans needs to be replaced. The Oven/Stove is a little tricky but we made it work! Also, the hot tub is really good for about 2 people only. So, don't get too excited. The Bunk bed room is a converted Walk In Closet without and electrical outlets. It would have been great to have a place to plug the phone in overnight. The space is tight but the sleeping space was good for the bunk bed room. The location is easy walking distance to the pier and beach area. Tybee is a beautiful area and we look forward to visiting again. I would book at this location again in a heart beat. I just like to leave honest reviews. Im easy going as well as our travel group. Thanks for the great stay!

Great stay!

We had a great time. The house was described accurately. It has quite a bit of space, especially if you include the good sized porches. The hot tub was nice! It’s a short walk from the beach in 2 directions, on a safe low traffic road. The washer wobbled A LOT with normal sized loads and we ran out of paper towel and toilet paper but other than that it was a wonderful trip!

We’ll be back!

This home was perfect for our multi generational family vacation. Not too many breakable things that I had to worry with little toddlers too... the King size bed was the most comfy I’ve slept on away from home (and I sleep horrible away from home... just wish I would have remembered my pillow!) as for cleanliness I think the maid before us needed to sweep better and use a swiffer. We pushed a couch back for more room and the floor was pretty dirty. The walls need a slight washing too in some places. My 4 year old LOVED the ship themed bunk room and even hung out in there during quiet time reading! The only few things that would have been helpful would be to know that they had two pack n plays in a closet... I had already rented from babyquip and she had delivered by the time we arrived. Also a few more pots/ pans variety for cooking options would be great. My hubby actually loves to cook on vacay and had to improvise a little. I think someone had mentioned in a previous comment they had a grill? We were disappointed to not find one... but the hot tub was also fun for us! Location was perfect and we loved the porches. Hopefully we’ll be able to come back soon!!!

The house was beautiful!

Everything was clean and we had everything we needed! Plenty of space for everyone. Close walking distance to restaurants and the beach, but the home was still in a quiet location. I will definitely seek this home out in the future for vacation.

Great choice for our family gathering

House was in great shape. Took full advantage of hot tub, fireplace and access to beach. Kitchen worked well for Thanksgiving feast. Beds are comfy, master suite is spacious. Extra blankets and pillows served well. Internet was fast for all our devices.
