Brand New town house, great owner, and fun place to live for 6 family members
1) Property is located in Las Palmas II, a new town house community in Northwest PDC. Not close to downtown, nor Playacar. The community feels very safe, primarily families with children.
2)Transportation is widely available, taxi ride to 5th Avenue should cost 50 pesos, bargain with the driver. If you can tolerate the slow and hot ride of collectivo, 9 peso per passenger.
3)Property was brand new, and AC worked really well. There are AC units for each of the bed room and downstairs living room. Hard to find wall plugs for a lot of electronic devices, but I guess that is common among Mexican buildings.
4)Owner is very responsive and helped us a lot during our stay. We arrived one day late due to storm in Dallas and owner was able to schedule a caretaker waiting for our arrival. We requested extra sheets and hair dryers. The checkout was smooth too.
5)Las Palmas II is still developing as a townhouse community. The property offered a lot of immersion in Playa Del Carmen. We had to use a laundry service 6 min down the 28th ave and it costed 130 peso for 10KG of dirty cloth.
6)Food is available in nearby OXXO shop and other smaller shops. We enjoy the chicken meal provided by a local fried pollo take out restaurant. We had a great time in PDC and this property was able to take care of our need. I would recommend this Property to a lot of families.
