Amazing Family Vacation Spot

Great location, easy to get in and out of and central to all that is San Diego. Amazing host, truly provides value to our stay, above and beyond what we'd need. I wish all vacation home hosts took the same thought and care into ensuring their guests are comfortable. If all vacation homes were like this one I'd never stay in a hotel ever again.

Felt like home

This was a perfect place to stay in San Diego. It was VERY close to both bay and ocean beach areas. The house was so inviting and I was able to fully relax. Doreen was friendly, responsive and literally thought of everything we might have needed!

The house was very clean. It was in a great location with easy access to the beach and surrounding areas. The back patio was nice to relax on and we had everything we needed. Doreen left clear instructions. She also left snacks! We would stay here again.

Cannot give enough praise to our host. Doreen was so kind and did everything possible for our stay to feel like home. Such a beautiful place. Clean, equipped and loved having a washer and dryer in the master. Highly recommend.

Amazing Rental in Great Location

This was the best rental we've ever stayed in! Doreen was an incredible host - she provided us with snacks and brand new toys for the kids, and was extremely responsive and helpful. The house was clean, spacious, and extremely well stocked with kitchen supplies, beach towels, beach chairs and kids toys. The outdoor area was great, with a nice hot tub, comfy furniture, grill, and plenty of shade. The location was perfect for going to the beach and for all the San Diego tourist spots on our list. We would love to stay again next time we're in San Diego!

Our stay was awesome! The house is beautiful and has ample amount of space for a family! About 10 min drive to mission beach! Easy to get to! House has everything you need. I didn’t have to buy anything except for groceries, obviously! And the owner is great with communication! We would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely home

The home was wonderful and so clean! The hot tub and outdoor area were an amazing area to relax after a long day. The host has thought of everything...from beach chairs, toys, coolers to shampoo, laundry soap and the goodies that she left for us. Definitely will be booking this location next time we come to San Diego. Thank you!!

Great house

We spent a wonderful weekend here. The house is well maintained and clean. The beds were comfortable. We didn't cook much but there was a good assortment of kitchen necessities. There were also beach chairs, towels and an umbrella provided which was nice to have. We enjoyed the welcome package, also. It is very clear that the owner cares about being a good host and loves her home. We would definitely recommend and will stay again when we visit San Diego.

Best vacation rental I've ever been to!

It was such a nice cozy place. Dorene went above and behind to make us feel welcome and special, and was always pleasant to interact with. So many nice touches: Comfy beds, great location, two kitchenettes (not big but great to have) stuff for children/babies' washer/dryer, hot tub. The neighbor Alex was also very nice and helpful especially considering the backyard is a shared space where he lives and we were just vacationers. Everything was perfect for our needs, would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone :) thanks Dorene and Evolve!

Great Neighborhood - Great House

We definitely loved our stay at this house. All is as advertised. Great location and easy to get in and out and around San Diego. Having off street parking is a nice plus. Pacific Beach is just one mile away. Several restaurant choices and grocery stores/shops near by. Host was very friendly and helpful. One thing to keep in mind is that this is, while well maintained, an older house and outlets are limited in the bedrooms if you have extra electronics needing to plugged in.

San Diego Family Time

This rental was a wonderful place for our family reunion! It was comfortable, well stocked for all our needs, and perfect for a family stay in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to beaches, zoo, balboa park, and grocery shopping. The master suite on one end of the house was perfect for a toddler quiet nap/sleep zone while adults enjoyed the hot tub! Back yard space was clean and inviting! We enjoyed the BBQ, outside table and various relaxing lounging spaces. Our host had quick and supportive responses and had the toddler highchair and port a crib ready as promised. We are interested in returning to this comfortable home for future San Diego vacations!

Fantastic Host!

We stayed at this location with family and two small children. The host contacted us prior to arrival to get info so they were able to make the home child friendly. They supplied all kinds of comforts to make travel with little ones so easy and pleasant! There were treats waiting for us upon arrival and it was very nice to have family from out of state feel so welcome. The location is close enough to walk to beach and all kinds of downtown spots. Plenty of parking. Large comfortable outdoor space. Very clean and stocked to make travel a breeze. Definitely a 5-star rating! Thank you again Dorene!

Great location!

Our trip was so lovely, I don’t know where to start! Dorene was so warm and welcoming upon our arrival; and she provided a new, “you can keep it” beach toy to our toddler … jackpot! The house is so cute and it was very clean and met all of our needs. It was nice to have a driveway for parking (although street parking didn’t seem too difficult for most). There were welcome snacks and coffee in two locations of the house, which was a nice touch! The beds and couches were very comfortable. The shared space in the backyard with the friendly gentlemen who lives in the casita was amazing! We grilled and enjoyed dinner out there and sat in the hot tub. The beach chairs and toys and umbrella were so helpful on our outings! The house was stocked with a ton of kids toys, which was great during downtime at the house. The neighborhood is amazing, it’s so lively with families and dogs walking around yet it’s quiet and feels very safe. I’d move there in a heartbeat! The house was the perfect location for allllll the sandcastle building at mission, pacific and ocean beaches. We would absolutely stay here again!

One of the nicest VRBO rentals ever! Clean, comfortable and convenient. Close to shopping, the bay and the beaches. The owner left a care package for us and there were a lot of nice touches to the home! This was our second visit and will continue to book as long as we can.

Perfect home and location and so clean!

Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay here during our time in San Diego. We'd absolutely recommend it to others! This house is CLEAN and taken well care of. The location is perfect to nearby attractions, just as the listing mentions. We enjoyed visiting La Jolla Cove, the San Diego Zoo, and watching the 4th of July parade at Coronado Island. But we also appreciated how we could walk to Mission Bay and Pacific Beach! Note that there were plenty of scooter rentals nearby if you are hesitant about the walk to the beach. My wife and I have a 20-month-old toddler and he loved playing around in the backyard area. It has a lot of shade too. The toys were an added bonus! And we enjoyed using the bbq in the backyard, it worked well and was clean. The owner was so nice; she purchased a high chair for our toddler to use during our stay when we asked if she had one available. The pack and play she had available was also great too. And, the bedrooms were dark enough we did not have to worry about him waking up from too much light. The owner is great at communicating and responding to any questions promptly.
