Interaction with guests

I love to interact with the people. That was fun part of my trip and this is the reason that I open the Urbanwood Guesthouse. Since I will be on site almost all the time, so you will easily find me to ask information or so. In addition, I used to work for Seoul Tourism Organization which means that I could be a great source to find the tour information of Seoul.

Other things to note

Rooftop is always accessible to enjoy the fresh air. It is the one of the most interesting and lovely part of Urbanwood as well. And we have non-smoking policy through out the property but only one side of the rooftop is allowed for smokers. So, take an advantage of it.

Great space in Hongdae for family/larger group!

We were a group of two families of four (2 parents/2 kids). We really loved this property. It was perfect for us. The rooms had large beds and two bathrooms/showers, which can be hard to find. The kitchen was handy and fully stocked. The art and decorations were beautiful and unique. It was nice to play a few vinyl records. The rooftop was very nice too. Would have spent more time up there if it weren't so humid. The location was great. A few minutes to walk from Exit 7 in of the Hongik Univ. subway station. Lots of restaurants and shops around the area. Even though the area was bustling and full of young people who stay out late, the property was pretty quiet (though we were not there on the weekend). Martin was also a great host. Very responsive to messages and helped us out with a couple questions. 10/10 rating!

Why they chose this property

This is the first my own business after year of travel the world. And I loved the all the happy faces come and stay for their holiday in the guesthouse so I felt this night be the ideal business which always bring happy mood for your life. Now it has been 8 years already~^^.
While doing so, I found my other interests which my life happier and more fun. So now I am regularly doing travels, arts, wine and coffee tasting, reading and learning the languages. Hopefully you do have some happy energy in our property.
