Accommodation details
The apartment is fully equipped with modern furniture and has unique parquet flooring. It includes a bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed, a modern kitchen, a spacious bathroom, and a large bedroom with a double bed. From either of the rooms, you have an access to a beautiful veranda, where you can enjoy the views of a lovely garden.
The veranda has been recently renovated with an awning to provide the highest level of privacy and also to protect from the sun. The beautiful flowers and ornamental plants all over the garden will surely be pleasant to the eye. The outdoor tables and chairs on the veranda might become your favorite place to spend evenings at and help you feel like home, especially given you’ll be able to use a barbecue.
Each room is equipped with a 47-inch smart TV, which you can use to browse the internet, watch international channels, listen to music, watch YouTube videos and much more.
In the evening, after a day at the beach, you can rest comfortably on a large sofa in the living room watch the news and your favorite TV channels.
In case you need to do business, you can work peacefully at the desk located in the bedroom as long as a stable internet connection guaranteed.

Guest access

Guests will have access to the property via the Via Austria 2a. Once inside the condominium through an electric gate, you can park your car at the parking lot # 42. Precise instructions on how to enter the apartment can be found in chapter #18 “Check in and check out”.

Interaction with my guests
If you are not able to check in automatically for any reason, I will meet you to hand over the keys and show you the accomodation. In any case, I will always be at your disposal in case you need my help or any information. I am always available via phone, text message or via Whatsapp / Viber.

The neighbourhood
This is an ideal place for those who want to visit the beautiful beaches of southern Sardinia such as Costa Rei, Villasimius, Solanas, Geremeas, Sant'Andrea, Kal'e Moru, Mare Pintau, Geremeas and Pula as they all are located nearby. These beautiful beaches are easily accessible by car and by public transport. Nearby you will find numerous restaurants, such as El Faro restaurant, the Calici pizzeria or the Forza Paris steakhouse. A high quality wellness resort can be found at the Thalassos SPA center, where you can have relaxing massages, enjoy a sauna, hydromassage and much more.
The neighborhood is very quiet, located in the most elegant area of ​​Quartu Sant'Elena, in the province of Cagliari. The Poetto beach is about 15 minutes away by car. The Poetto beach coast, which is eight kilometers long, is the famous beach of Cagliari, which transforms into a venue for gatherings during warm summer evenings. Here, you will find numerous restaurants and bars, where you will get a nice service, eat great food and have good drinks as well as listen to live music. The Poetto stretches along the gulf called Golfo Degli Angeli, with the starting point at the cape Sella del Diavolo. Next to the Sella del Diavolo, you will find the port of Marina Piccola, a fashionable place and one of the most important sailing centers of the entire Mediterranean area.
Along the scenic road to Villasimius you can admire the beaches of Margine Rosso, Sant'Andrea (with the famous Villa Romana) Flumini, Capitana, or Is Mortorius (with its archaeological site under recovery stage). An must-see stop is Cala Regina, with its Spanish tower, and the beach of Mari Pintau and Geremeas, just ten minutes away from the property. Generally, everywhere you go, you will be welcomed by the emerald green waters in their various transparencies, wide beaches and cliffs with a great opportunity to practice fishing, sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and many more. Depending on your interests, I may tell you more of the things to try and explore in the area.
A close proximity of the accomodation to Cagliari and the center of Quartu S.Elena allows visitors to admire the pink flamingos that have chosen to nest in the pond of Molentargius and the lagoon of Santa Gilla. If you are a nature lover, you will have a possibility to trek and cycle along the extensive paths of the [park] Parco dei Sette Fratelli.
If you are not willing to rent a car, worry not - you will be able to use public transport, which functions regularly and efficiently, even during the weekend, and the bus stop is almost in front of the accommodation.
Cagliari is full of entertainment initiatives, including during the night hours. They often organize various shows and musical concerts featuring internationally renowned singers and DJs. Do not miss a chance to walk along Via Roma or around the Marina district, which is close to Piazza [square] San Sepolcro and Piazza [square] Yenne, where you can find many trattorias [restaurants] like Ci Pensa Cannas boasting fresh fish as well as ice cream parlors and nightclubs in the area.
How to move around & transportation services
In case you do not want to rent a car, which, in my opinion, is the best way to move around the island with ease, you can still use public transport, which is generally very efficient. However, it should be noted that if you want to visit beaches and places outside of the city, you should be ready to walk a fair amount to reach your destination. Public transport that might come in handy is below:

- Trenitalia or Ferroviesardegna

You can take a train if you want to visit the northern part of the island.
If you are looking for a more original way to visit the interior part of the island, you can opt for the Green Train. An ancient train, about two centuries old, will immerse you in fantastic landscapes, green and uncontaminated areas, which you will never have an opportunity to discover if not through this service.

- ARST buses

These buses, equipped with air conditioning, crusade all over Sardinia offering a great solution for those who want to visit multiple tourist attractions and beaches. If you go to their website or download their app beforehand, you will have a chance to easily plan your itineraries.

- CTM buses

The modern Mercedes buses are managed by the public company CTM, with air conditioning, allowing you to move around the city of Cagliari comfortably. You can buy tickets on board if you wish; otherwise you can get tickets in the box offices that are scattered around the city. The app the company suggests can be easily downloaded on your smart phone, which will allow you to easily plan your travels.

How to get to the property using public transport

Important: before using public transport, it is highly recommended you learn your route well through Google Maps and the apps provided by the public transport companies like CTM, Trenitalia and ARST.

The route to the property is below.

When you arrive at the airport, you will need to access the trains operated by Trenitalia. They generally depart every 15 minutes. The train will take you to the Piazza Matteotti square. Estimated journey time is about 10-15 minutes. The ticket price 1.25 euros. Tickets cannot be purchased on board.
Once in Piazza Matteotti, you will have to take either line PF or PQ. The bus will take you directly to the neighbourhood where the accommodation, from where you will need to just take a 2 minute walk to reach out to the property.
House rules
Protect yourself from thieves. Even though the area is very quiet, to avoid unpleasant situations, please always lock all the doors, windows and shutters when you leave the property.
Keep children away from the stove and other appliances.
Please water the plants regularly :)
Keep in mind that when you turn several appliances on at the same time, such as electric barbecue, oven or air conditioning, you might have a power outage. If the air conditioning is switched on, it is advisable not to keep other high consumption appliances switched on, including the washing machine and the dishwasher. If the outage happens, you may find the light counter device at the entrance to the property, next to the first gate. The counter is located on the inside of the beige colored doors.
Do not smoke inside the apartment.
Be mindful of your neighbors; keep music to a respectable level.
Follow the instructions regarding waste segregation. Detailed information is available on the refrigerator door.
Remember to always place some water at the bottom of the electric barbecue to prevent any damages.
It is strictly forbidden for more guests than specified at time of booking to stay at the house.
Leave the house clean and in order upon leaving the property.

Please leave the property before 10 am to allow appropriate time for the cleaning lady to complete her job before the next guests arrive.
