About this property

On the outskirts of Arcidosso, on its own little hill, lies this former farmhouse, with private pool and view of the picturesque old town. The vacation home consists of three separate apartments, which ? together with the annex ? offer enough space for families and groups who want to spend their vacations together in this little paradise. The interior is in the rustic style of the area, simple and functional. The spacious property is completely fenced; in the center between the two buildings is the pool area with its sun terraces; also a little above in the garden, on open lawn or in the shade of old chestnut trees you can dine at the outdoor barbecue. There are various possibilities for ball games (bocce, badminton, volley), a chestnut forest with old-honored specimens and covered parking for four cars below the house. Directly from the house you can walk, hike or trek; or even cross the mountainous landscape of Monte Amiata on mountain bikes ? nice and cool in summer at shady altitudes up to over 1,700 m! Discover Arcidosso for yourself, as well as the picturesque towns like Castel del Piano (3 km), Seggiano ( 8 km) or Abbadia San Salvatore (25 km). Everywhere you will find delicious specialties, often baked with chestnut flour, pasta with porcini mushrooms, pecorino cheese and much more, along with the best red wines from Montalcino or Montecucco! You can also enjoy bathing in the various warm thermal baths, for example at Bagno San Filippo, Bagno Vignoni or Saturnia ? either in the official thermal baths or, a very special experience, in the natural pools. In Arcidosso and Castel del Piano you will find everything for your daily needs ? groceries, trattorias, bars and stores of all kinds.
