Quiet but close to the amenities of the village, discover this charming vacation home with private pool and walled garden in the center of Olonzac in Hérault.
This beautiful village house is located in a quiet area of the capital Minervois, a wine region known for its unspoiled beauty and the quality of its wines.
You are less than a minute walk from the weekly market (Tuesday), stores and restaurants. The heated pool is hidden from view and accessible from the large terrace on the upper floor, from where you can enjoy the sun or shade. The living rooms are located on the 1st floor (there is a private basement on the first floor).
The interior is bright and pleasantly furnished. In addition to 2 beautiful bedrooms, 2 single beds await you in a mezzanine overlooking the living room.
For those seeking complete relaxation, this house is perfect, as you will not be disturbed by TV or internet.
Simple but modern, with a large courtyard surrounded by walls and planted with young olive trees, this pretty semi-detached house is ideal for discovering the landscapes of the Occitan hinterland. The region is characterized by the paths of the foothills of the Black Mountain, rivers, forests, the gorges and plateaus.
Olonzac is a village particularly appreciated by vacationers and is known for its relaxed lifestyle with its refreshing green theater, its city park and its archaeological museum. The Canal du Midi runs south of the village, offering its grassy banks for walks. Admire the boats passing through the double lock or rent one in the port of Homps, a few kilometers away. At 5 km, discover Lac de Jouarres, a lake of about a hundred hectares where you can picnic, swim, walk, fish, sail or canoe.

Very nice and spacious apartment in the heart of Olonzac
Ideal for 4 people. Located right in the heart of town with a huge pool/pool area and very spacious and cozy rooms. Unfortunately, the apartment is maintained very badly: There was no garbage bin when we arrived. There were no kitchen towels (for drying the dishes). The cutlery was dirty/smeary and had to be completely cleaned by us. The legs of all the chairs for the eating table were severely loose and all had to be tightened by us. In two pans there were dead bees. The beds were done very sloppily (1 star hotels normally feature better linnens etc). The shower was unusable (the hose was defect because the genious that installed the shower faucets mounted them the wrong way around.. upside down). One of the doors leading to the very nice balcony overlooking the pool area was defect (not lockable, because someone broke the key inside the lock, which obviously was not repaired). Last but not least there was a strong smell trom the sewage. The coffee machines did not work either and the pans were all very old. In general, the kitchen was equipped badly. The fridge was way too small (even though there would be space for two luxurious ones) and of cheapest quality (and on top not very clean either). Also, there was only one fan (for two rooms), which (given the ridiculously low prices for good products these days) should be worth the investment... All-in-all the maintenance of this basically very nice object is a shame and the price for two weeks was too much considering the bad state. I do not know whether I would go back there.
