"von Allem etwas"

Das Haus bot alles was wir brauchten. Da wir aber auch viele Stunden Wetter bedingt im Haus verbringen mussten und ein Kind dabei war, hätten wir gerne deutsche Fernsehprogramm im Angebot gehabt ( aber nur wegen des teilweise schlechten Wetter). Der Eigentümer samt Familie wird uns sehr angenehm in Erinnerung bleiben. Wir haben uns sehr gut gefühlt und die Weite des Grundstückes genossen.

Traumhafte Woche am Fuss des Ätna

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in der Casa Mandarini verbracht. Es ist ein sehr gepflegtes Haus, bei dem man merkt, dass sich jemand wirklich Gedanken macht, was seine Gäste brauchen könnten. Voll eingerichtet aber ohne unnötigen Krimskrams. Ganz toll fanden wir das Porzellan, die kleine Stereoanlage und die grosse Auswahl an Töpfen und Pfannen. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, und wie in anderen Bewertungen schon steht, mit vielen eigens angebauten Aufmerksamkeiten wie Orangen, Zitronen, Marmelade, und ein ganz toller Wein. Wir haben das von dem sehr bemühten und freundlichen Vermieter jeden Tag gebrachte Frühstück immer auf der Terrasse verspeist, mit Blick auf das Meer und den Vulkan. Der Vermieter war stets aufmerksam und hat uns viele Tipps zu Ausflügen, Restaurants und Routen gegeben. Der Bereich von Schwimmbad, Tennisplatz und Liegewiese ist auch sehr gepflegt und man hat sehr viel Platz. Es gibt nur 3 Häuser auf dem Grundstück, also wird auch der Ansturm nie gross sein. Den Strand in der Umgebung haben wir als kieselig erlebt. Auto braucht man auf jeden Fall. Im Grossen und Ganzen war alles so wie wir es uns gewünscht hatten und wir würden es unseren Freunden jederzeit vorbehaltslos weiterempfehlen.

Ferienhaus Mandarini

Entspannung pur auf der Orangenfarm Casa de civi. Ein herzlicher Empfang durch den Vermieter Salvo mit Orangen, Kirschen, Zitronen und weiteren Obstsorten aus eigenem Anbau. Garantiert ungespritzt. Kommunikation in Englisch oder Italienisch möglich, ansonsten mit Händen und Füssen. Vermieter sehr bemüht, gibt gute Ratschläge für Touren und Gaststätten. Besonderer Service von Salvo: Frühstück wird auf Wunsch geliefert (Liegt um 7:30 auf der Terrasse. Habe ich noch bei keiner Ferienwohnung erlebt). Ausstattung des Hauses Klasse und sehr liebevoll (Frische Blumen auf dem Tisch). bettwäsche und ausreichend Handtücher werden gestellt. Waschmaschine vorhanden. Haus liegt eingebettet in einen ca. 10ha großes Areal, vollkommend alleinstehend, das Nachbarhaus ist mind. 200 m entfernt. Fussweg zum Pool ca. 5Min. Pool auch für kleinere Kinder geeignet da nicht sehr tief. Autobahn in ca. 500m Entfernung, ist aber nicht störend. Anreise nur mit eigenem Auto, da doch ziemlich abgelegen (ca. 2km zum nächsten Ort). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe absolut ausreichend. Mascali ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für die Ostküste inkl. Ätna. Diverse Strände in ca. 15Min erreichbar (Wenig Sand, mehr Kiesel).
