Charming Casita! This is a Romantic get-a-way. Mexican tile thru-out, Pine ceilings, new appliances, walk-in tiled shower. Cherry and Walnut cabinets. (the owner is a retired cabinetmaker). This kitchen haand Casita has all Mexican tile and is so beautiful and functional.
Please take time and look at the reviews and pictures as I think you will be hard pressed to find a more unique and cozy getaway.
This is a PERFECT place for Bicycle riders. Look at all the loops in and around Tucson. Only a 10 minute ride to get on the River "LOOP" that goes all around the city.

We have a queen bed in the bedroom with plenty of closet space and doors with mirrors for that open feeling. Also a La-z-boy couch that pulls out to a queen bed as well. Very comfortable.
Imagine yourselves with a drink in your hand under the covered patio looking out onto the Catalina Mtns.
We also have fast speed internet for business or pleasure.
This place will not disappoint! Large front yard with lots of different flora and fauna that you can admire. Very large driveway as well.

Cozy and charming!

We decided to go to Tucson for Christmas on a lark, looked at VRBO, saw the Casita and booked it, and are we ever glad we did! The Casita is wonderful, and in a good location. Nice neighborhood for walking around, a park a couple of blocks away, great Italian restaurant right up the street, a good sports bar there too. There are 2 local coffee roasting companies within walking distance, but if Starbuck's is your thing, there are 2 of those as well! There are also 2 bikes to use, if you get more motivated than we did. The bus to downtown is one block away, and takes you right to the transit center. The Casita itself is lovely! The attention to detail is fantastic, from the beautiful tile work, the warm and festive wall colors, and the incredible cabinetry. The ceilings are wood, with a rope trim, which I had never seen before--really cool! The yard is big, front yard very nice with beautiful desert landscaping, back yard is large and fenced. (There is one board missing, which could be an issue if you have a small dog that wants to escape.) Having a garage to park in and laundry facilities...bonus!! Kelley and Nancy were kind and thoughtful hosts,provided a well stocked home away and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Overall, a terrific experience, and we can't wait to come back!

Charming Tucson casita

I had a wonderful stay at this casita in Tucson. Great location, nice neighborhood and nice neighbors. Everything was so well thought out for a visitor. I loved having a garage to park my car in, and I even did a load of laundry! I brought a bed with for my dog, but she preferred sleeping on the cool tile floor. The casita was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I hope to return again soon!

Very well done.

My wife and I have stayed in a number of vacation rentals because we don't like hotels. The Casita was by far the nicest one we have stayed in. Kelley did a great job on the place. Everything we needed and clean. Enjoyed our stay and hopefully we can make it back next year.

Beautiful, charming casita.

Between the Mexican tile work, floors, wall art and warm colors this casita was designed with a beautiful southwestern flair. The owners make it very easy to find everything you might need (good labeling and thorough notes), and were very responsive and pleasant in all of my dealings with them. I also greatly enjoyed the landscaped front and back yard and the private setting. For me, this beautiful spot was a real find.

Kelley and Nancy are from NORTH POLE ALASKA! (No kidding). We love to travel, and also have a passion for remodeling, Classic Cars, Magic and other Circus Skills.
Kelley grew up in Southern California surfing and sailing. In 1970 Kelley sailed a 38 ft. Ketch to Hawaii and has been traveling ever since.
Nancy my wife was a Dog Musher is Alaska for many, many years and once had as many as 50 dogs in her kennel. Nancy is now retired from the University of Alaska at Fairbanks and I still own a Specialty lumberyard in North Pole. (That is why we have a Ponderosa Pine Tongue and Groove ceiling in the Casita!) (I love the warmth and coziness it provides).

This Casita been totally remodeled and now everything is new and up to date. This property is close to everything including SABINO CANYON for those who love bike riding, the outdoors and hiking. Also within 1 mile of Tucson Medical Facilities for those in need of those services. Fine Dining is a 5 minute walk, as is Vera Amore Italian Food and live music outside sometimes, (TOP RATED!) and fresh FRENCH pastries also a 5 minute walk. Starbucks and Sayveya Coffee shop only a 5 minute walk.The British car club meets at the Starbucks on Grant and Swan on tuesday mornings at 8 A. M. Many parks closely for a walk with your dog. Also plenty of painters and Fort Lowell is Historic and is just a few blocks away.

What makes this property unique

Spectacular Mexican tiled kitchen, with all new appliances for that Romantic get-a-way! This place is small but you will be in a World all your own when you walk in. Very comfy and cozy. Close to EVERYTHING! You'll love the warmth of the 1 x 6 T&G Pine ceiling. Everything in this home is the finest tile we could find.
Great for Gem Show participants and plenty of parking off street in a quiet, slow paced neighborhood. Although, just a block from Grant and Swan cross-street. Lots of room for additional vehicles. Also room to park small vehicles inside a garage which is hard to find in Tucson. Situated on a large lot so you have room to move and sit on the patio and look at the Catalina Mtns. Starbucks just one block away as well for that morning coffee! :-)
We do have a small dog run in the backyard for your cherished pets. The complete yard has a 4 foot block fence, but no gate on the driveway.
