Relax - Discover - Experience
In spring, extensive hikes into the countryside can start right from the house, with the possibility of spotting moose or, if you're very lucky, a wolf or bear. Mating and breeding cranes and Canada geese also offer an impressive natural spectacle.
On balmy summer evenings, you can enjoy the setting sun by the river, grill fish you have caught yourself over a campfire or simply soak up the magnificent atmosphere and the tranquillity of nature. Every now and then, a pair of beavers that have taken up residence nearby will drop by. And even when it rains, you can sit outside on the covered veranda surrounded by nature.
There is direct access to the river, from where you can easily get into the water.
A rowing boat or canoe are available for fishing and exploring the river.
In late summer and autumn, you can find an abundance of delicious blueberries, cranberries and various mushrooms on the walking trails in the immediate vicinity.
In winter, which is still a real winter here, with plenty of snow and dry cold, ice fishing on one of the many lakes offers a special experience, and when the snow cover is closed, you should definitely explore the impressive landscape in the surrounding area on cross-country skis or snowshoes. You will be amazed!
In our holiday home and in the surrounding area you have numerous opportunities to make your leisure time an experience. Whether it's playing football or barbecuing in the spacious garden, playing on the swings or in the sandpit with the little ones or swimming, fishing and boating on our own stretch of beach, relaxation starts right here at the house.
In the vast forests in the surrounding area, you might even spot a moose or two while foraging for mushrooms and berries. In and around one of the many streams and lakes and while hiking in incredible scenery, you can unwind and then round off the evening by the campfire.
We are happy to introduce you to some of the many leisure activities on offer here.
