This dammuso (a typical type of building in Pantelleria) was recently renovated, completed in July 2012. It is part of a group of eight dammusi, neighbouring dammuso nr. 842083.
The accommodation was created out of a former country house, which was converted into a spacious studio. The high, vaulted, stone ceilings are a striking feature. The living area is divided from the alcove, where there is an inviting four poster bed, by a curtain. The kitchen-diner, with a well-equipped kitchen unit and a dining area with a table and chairs, is furnished cosily with a touch of the exotic. The barrel vault roof of uncovered natural stone creates a particular atmosphere. It is especially the combination of exotic décor and rustic stone that make this accommodation unique and charming. There is also a spacious bathroom with a shower.
Outside a large, roofed terrace with a parasol awaits you, offering a good view of the sea and the surrounding lush green landscape with grape vines, olive trees and caper bushes.
The nearest inhabited village is Khamma, about 3km away, where you can find some essential services, such as shops. Access to the sea is about 1000 metres away at Punta Karace.
