About this property

You can charter the houseboat Kairos on the Rheinsberg chain of lakes with a connection to the Mecklenburg Lake District and enjoy your valuable vacation days.

The houseboat Kairos offers space, comfort and equipment like a complete apartment.
On an area of 79 m² (16.6 mx 4.8 m) you live on 48 m² of living space and have a 17 m² terrace + 10 m² roof terrace at your disposal.

The houseboat has two full bedrooms with double beds measuring 160 x 200 cm.
A daylight bathroom is attached to each bedroom. The front bathroom is equipped with an electric toilet and rain shower. The rear bathroom is equipped with a shower toilet (integrated bidet) and rain shower.

Life takes place in the large living room. The kitchenette is equipped with gas stove and oven, 120l fridge with freezer. In the transitional period, you can comfortably warm the houseboat with a gas condensing boiler and a small stove with a viewing window.
From the roof terrace you have a great all-round view, can watch the sunset and nature, or do a yoga session.

All windows are equipped with a UV protective coating for UV protection and also against thermal radiation.
So that you can sleep with the window open without hesitation. Insect screen sliding doors are mounted on the bedroom windows.

The photovoltaic system is lavishly dimensioned, so that you always have enough energy available from spring to autumn and are independent of shore power.
1000l fresh water tank and 1000l waste water tank are generously dimensioned.

You don't need a boat driver's license, the 15 hp outboarder moves you economically and quietly through the wonderful landscape and to your destination.

Despite the size of the Cairo houseboat, it is easy to manoeuvre. It has a transverse thruster in the bow and stern. You can turn the houseboat on the spot or move it sideways. Mooring maneuvers and locks are easy to manage.

The houseboat is insured with a deductible of €1000. On arrival, a deposit of €1000 is therefore easiest to pay in cash to the transferor. This will be refunded after the end of the booking period.

Versichg. mussten 1.000 € an Mirko F. bei Schlüsselübernahme sofort gezahlt werden; kurze u. mangelhafte Einweisg., total verdrecktes Boot (verklebter Fußboden, altes Laub, tote Spinnen u. Käfer); volle Hygienebehälter; keine Reinigungsgeräte und Müllbeutel; Stehlampe u. Tischlampen defekt; Handdusche fehlte; Positionsleuchten nicht schaltbar usw. Bei kurzer Testfahrt „spuckte“ der Motor; 3,5 h Reparatur; während der Fahrt weitere Motorausfälle; Wassertank halb leer, Fäkalientank halb voll; bei Rückkehr Liegeplatz zu eng, 19 Hilfstelefonate endeten im NICHTS. Beim „Ausparken“ des Hausbootes kam es zu einer Kollision (Druckstelle am Bugrahmen). Bei Rückgabe des Bootes bemerkte Hr. F. mit einem Grinsen, dass sich die Rückgabe der Kaution nun erledigt habe. Das mit ihm diesbezügl. geführte Gespräch war äußerst unerfreulich u. nicht zielführend. Fazit: Einbehaltg. von Kautionen scheint praktikables, einträgliches Nebengeschäft des Hrn. F. zu sein, der bereits vor Antritt der Reise kundtat, keine Lust zu haben, sich mit Versichgen. abzugeben. Trotz Zusage, uns die notwendg. Infos u. Dokumente für die Regulierg. des Schadens zukommen zu lassen, erhielten wir bis heute keine Infos, kein Schriftverkehr, kein Telefonat. Kontaktaufnahme unsererseits (Anrufe, Wats-App) liefen ins Leere. Weiß fewo-direct überhaupt über das Abzocken der Gäste durch Hr. F. Bescheid? Herzlichst Ilona

Das erste Mal als "Landratten" aus der 🇨🇭 auf einem Hausboot. einem Hausboot. Hsr

Sehr komfortables Hausboot mit allem "drumm und dran". Wie zu Hause. Küche, Schlafzimmer, Nasszellen, alles tafellos. Kairos war für uns perfekt. Handhabung für nur zwei Personen (ohne Erfahrung) bei einem Anlegemanöver ist machbar. Aus der Ruhe kommt die Kraft. Gute Einweisung von Myrco vor Ort bei Abnahme des Bootes und er war auch jederzeit erreichbar bei Problemen. Wir hatten Wasser im Benzintank. Nach Anruf bei Myrco hat Patrick das Problem kurzerhand gelöst. Unbedingt Proviant für die ersten Tage mitnehmen. Kaufgelegenheiten sind rar in der Gegend. Wir haben ein paar wirklich geruhsame und erholsame Tage auf dem Boot verbracht. Ariane und Daniel

Super Zeit in der Natur

Die Ausstattung war super und sehr komfortabel, aber für unerfahrene Bootsfahrer ist das Handling bei windigen Wetter schwierig.

fantastischer aufenthalt

der aufenthalt auf dem hausboot war eine inspiration. viel platz, schöne ausstattung, grosser komfort knapp über der wasserlinie - wir hatten eine wirklich schöne zeit in einer beeindruckenden umgebung... gerne wieder und immer schön langsam unter den brücken

Entspannung oder Abenteuer

Vorweg sei gesagt, dass ist ein super schönes Hausboot mit einer sehr guten Inneneinrichtung. Die Zimmer sind für ein Hausboot sehr geräumig. Auch die Lage des Bootes ist wunderschön. Die Seen die man befahren kann sind super sauber. Und den Sonnenuntergang auf der Dachterasse zu genießen ist wunderschön. Keine Frage es war eine schöne und abenteuerliche Woche die wir auf der Kairos verbracht haben. Das Boot ist eines der größten Boote dort und das macht das Steuern nicht einfacher. Mit einer Breite von 4,80m sind die Durchfahrten an den sehr schmalen Brücken ein Abenteuer. Man muss schon sehr genau Zielen um dort auch durch zu passen weil man an einigen Brücken gefühlt nur noch eine Handbreit platz hat rechts und links vom Boot. Daher würde ich empfehlen, dass man schon etwas Erfahrung mit dem Steuern von Booten mitbringen sollte um einen Schaden zu vermeiden. Wie es uns passiert ist. Auch die ganzen Gepflogenheiten auf dem Wasser und wie das mit dem Ankern und anlegen in Häfen abläuft mussten wir auch erst selber lernen. Da gibt es meiner Meinung nach noch Luft nach oben bei der Einweisung durch die Agentur vor Ort. Aber nachdem wir unseren Schrecken durch den Unfall überwunden hatten und uns wieder getraut haben weiter zu fahren wurde es dann doch noch eine Wunderschöne Reise auf dem Wasser. Also ich kann es Empfehlen. Aber wie gesagt in der größe des Hausbootes meiner Meinung nach nicht wirklich für Neulinge geeignet. Aber wir würden es trotzdem wieder machen. Sind ja jetzt keine Anfänger mehr.
