If you bring your bikes, you can ride the few kilometers to the north coast of Lolland and enjoy swimming in the shallow waters. Also, bring your fishing equipment and try your luck at catching fish. For example, at Knuthenborg Safari Park, you can observe the many wild animals up close from your car, or visit the pretty town of Maribo and take a trip on the veteran railroad. The nature park "Maribosøerne" with its beautiful nature and rich fauna and flora is a paradise for nature lovers, who can also hear the song of the nowadays rare nightingale here. But also in Nakskov you can admire a lovingly restored submarine from the former Russian fleet.
