Gastgeber nicht erreichbar - Vrbo hat uns nicht geholfen

Wir hätten mehrmals versucht den Gastgeber zu erreichen, es wurde auf keine Nachrichten und Anrufe reagiert. Zwei Tage vor der gebuchten Reise haben wir Vrbo kontaktiert. Die Mitarbeiter informierten uns darüber, dass die angegebene Telefonnummer nicht stimmt und sie den Gastgeber auch nicht erreichen können. Eine Stornierung war aber laut Vrbo nicht möglich bzw. hätten wir kein Geld zurückbekommen. Eine Rückerstattung der bereits abgebuchten Miete würden wir nur bekommen, wenn wir vor geschlossener Tür stehen!! Na gut, genauso war es auch schlussendlich auch. Wir standen um 16 Uhr (frühester Check in) vor dem Haus und niemand war da. Die Nachbarn waren nett und sagten uns, dass sie nichts von einer Wohnung wissen, die vermietet wird. Die ganze Sache ist sehr ärgerlich, am meisten aber haben wir uns darüber geärgert, dass wir absolut keine Unterstützung von Vrbo erhalten haben. Wir mussten mit unserem Kleinkind ohne Bestätigung des Gastgebers anreisen, obwohl sich Vrbo keinen Kontalt vermitteln konnte! Dieses Apartment existiert nicht (mehr). Angeblich findet Vrbo es nicht der Mühe wert, dieses Inserat zu löschen.

Wir haben den Gastgeber nicht erreichen können. Sehr nette Nachbaren haben uns geholfen eine andere Wohnung zu finden.

Nice apartment with quite a few drawbacks

We overall enjoyed our stay at the apartment because it's quite new and quite big. But there were several drawbacks that we experienced during our stay and for some of you this might be a dealbreaker. When we arrived there were only 4 beds ready (we booked the apartment for 5)... We contacted the host and she only brought 1 pillow (without any bed sheets). The host was responsive, but not enough proactive to solve our problem, which dissapointed us a little (because getting an extra bed sheet shouldn't be such a problem especially if you know 5 people are staying at your apartment). The next thing we saw were very small and a little bit dirty towels... we were lucky because we had with us our own towels, but if we hadn't, we would have problems. We went on to figure out that the Wi-FI wasn't working as well. This was unfortunately not the only thing that went wrong. We later found out that the shower was a little bit clogged and we had a small flooding in the bathroom... The following day we noticed that the dish washer also wasn't working along with the kitchen vent... It was really a shame since the apartment is really nice, but unfortunately doesn't posses the neccessary components for a relaxing stay. Things just kept going "wrong"... I unfortunately cannot give the apartment a grade of more than 3/5 since it does not fit the neccessary criteria. With some care from the host it could easily get 4/5 but the things mentioned in this review need to be fixed ASAP.
