Serene location

The villa was just as we had been told. The views were spectacular - the blue Mediterranean and distant islands without any distracting lights of other habitations visible - and complete quiet in the evening and all through the night which was greatly appreciated at the end of a day’s activities. The swimming pool was great, the kitchen well-equipped, the air conditioning was very efficient so a warm room at the end of the day could be cooled down in a matter of minutes - no need to leave it on while we were out and about. The caretaker was friendly and very available. My only word of advice to visitors is to park your car up at the top of the driveway which is very steep and long with no easy place to turn around at the bottom. We had no trouble parking up on the side of the roadway which is nice and flat, and even found a tree to park under so that the car stayed cooler! All in all, a fantastic location and great house!

Beautiful villa

We had a great time at Villa Rumi - we especially liked the pool and access to the sea. The photos are accurate -- the view is just as spectacular as in the listing. The villa is a great size and has a great layout. A minor (negligible, even) issue was that the listing said we could arrange a barbecue but after making this plan with the caretaker and looking forward to coming home to a home-cooked meal, we were told it was forbidden, maybe this was because of the high winds and dry season, I'm still not sure why. Overall this was a great stay in Kas.

Wonderful Place

We had an absolutely brilliant stay as a family at Villa Rumi and would definitely recommend it. The location is great. It is a peaceful spot with amazing views, especially at sunset. An easy ten minute drive to Kas centre or a short walk to local hotel restaurants. The property was clean, modern, and really nicely decorated. The air con was really efficient. Lovely welcome basket of wine, chips, milk, etc. Well-equipped kitchen with coffee machine, juicer, etc. comfortable beds and lots of towels. The private pool is a really great feature. The communication from the owners was great and we enjoyed meeting the lovely landlady. We followed the recommendations in the useful information folder and the boat trip with Murat was a real highlight. The caretaker, Isa, was really friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a super stay at this brilliant property. Highly recommended.

luxuriöse Villa mit Pool:

Bewertung für luxuriöse Villa mit Pool: eigentlich wollten wir einen ruhigen Urlaub in schöner Umgebung verbringen. Deshalb haben wir uns für die luxuriöse Villa mit privaten Pool in Kas entschieden. Leider war die Qualität der Villa nicht so luxuriös, wie beschrieben. Im oberen Bad kam in der Dusche nur kurz warmes Wasser. So nutzten wir zum Duschen nur das untere Bad, hier fehlte der Toilettensitz, der während unseres Aufenthaltes auch nicht ersetzt wurde. Auf dem Weg vom Parkplatz bis vor unsere Haustüre war die Beleuchtung defekt, so dass wir abends im Dunkeln die Türe aufschließen mussten… Leider war uns auch nicht bewußt, dass sich vor unseren Fenstern und der Terrasse der Gemeinschaftspool befindet (dadurch teilweise nicht viel Privatsphäre und Ruhe). Anfangs gab es keine Probleme , den Privat-Pool (nebenan)privat zu nutzen. Wir hatten aber bemerkt, dass er von der Eigentümerin und deren Besuch teilweise genutzt wurde. Am vorletzten Tag waren dann gleich frühs von der Eigentümerin die Liegen mit Handtüchern belegt, als wir unseren letzten Tag an „unserem gemieteten Privatpool“ verbringen wollten, lag sie mit ihrem Besuch auf den Liegen. Auf Nachfrage und Bemerkung, dass wir geplant hatten, den Tag am Pool zu verbringen bekam ich zur Antwort, dass das doch kein Problem sei, und wir den Gemeinschaftspool nützen sollen. Ich sagte, dass wir diese Villa nur gemietet haben, da sie einen Privatpool hat und den Pool auch als Privatpool nutzen wollen.
