The living room can be reached via 4 steps and is very spacious with a nice large sitting area and 2 separate sofa beds. The living room has a satellite TV and a radio. Directly from the living room you can access the covered south-facing balcony with seating and a beautiful view of the Harz Mountains.

The house is located in a very quiet street in the centre of Hohegeiß, in the middle of the Harz Mountains. From here you have the opportunity to discover the Harz Mountains.
You can go on beautiful hikes across the beautiful meadows and forests directly from the house. Take the Harz narrow-gauge railway to the highest mountain in northern Germany, the Brocken. Seek adventure on the suspension bridge over the Rappbode dam or the suspension railway in Bad Harzburg. But the Harz also has beautiful historic towns where you can experience culture, for example in Wernigerode, Goslar or Quedlinburg. The latter two are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Walkenried Abbey and the Border and GDR Museum are also nearby.
