Golfo Aranci is the ideal starting point for exploring the beautiful Costa Smeralda and the wonderful locations of Gallura. In just a few minutes you can reach internationally renowned locations such as Porto Cervo, Palau, La Maddalena, San Teodoro and many others. The town is famous for its enchanting white sandy beaches, 24 in total in its area. Prominent among them is the splendid Cala Moresca, which can be reached on foot through a protected area or by a shuttle bus operating only in high season.
For those interested in history and archaeology, Golfo Aranci also offers the Sacred Well of Milis, dating back to the Nuragic era, while other important archaeological sites, such as Barumini (now a UNESCO World Heritage Site), are easy to visit. Every day, at 11.30 a.m. and 7 p.m., an evocative stylised bronze mermaid emerges from the waters of the sea, accompanied by traditional Sardinian music, enchanting adults and children alike.
Finally, Golfo Aranci is dominated by the imposing Tavolara, which frames the entire Gulf of Olbia. A particularly evocative experience is a walk on the illuminated wooden footbridge, which runs along the sea and leads to the centre of the village, where you will find characteristic bars, souvenir and coral shops, perfect to end an unforgettable day.
