Cozy and Clean 2 bedroom cabin, hot tub, 2 queen beds, fire pit, BBQ Grill, 3/4 bath, kitchen. Washer and dryer on site. Parking for a 2 place snowmobile trailer and sled from the cabin. Trails for 4 wheeling nearby also. Fishing, hunting, sightseeing. Yellowstone National Park is less than a 1/2 hr drive and that drive is very scenic. This is our personal family cabin. No smoking and No pets. If you are considering a vacation to the Island Park/Yellowstone area, you owe it to yourself to check this one out.
Driving North on Highway 20 drive through Last Chance Ponds Lodge as you approach the Macks Inn area turn right on the south Big Springs loop road. Drive .25 miles on your left turn left on Church Lane. Follow the chain link fence around and my cabin is tucked back behind the brown covered storage building. 4117 Power Lane. Green cabin deck on the front with hot tub.
This cabin is located in a populated semi residential/ business area of Mack Inn. This a nice personal cabin, not a luxury Suite. We have rented out our cabin for more than 20 years. Our hot tub is not working, and will not be until snow melts around it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Awesome cozy cabin
Stayed with my son for a week of snowmobiling and the cabin was perfect for our needs. Didn’t have any issues, but owners were very responsive to a few minor questions. Exactly as advertised, not a high end luxury suite, but is very clean, comfortable, priced right, and the location was perfect. Beds were very comfortable! Plenty of room to park crew cab pickup and 20’ enclosed trailer in the driveway. Probably could fit another pickup or 2 in the driveway space if needed. Easy access to the trail system right from the cabin. Gas station is a block away and little grocery store a few blocks farther down the trail/road. Had no problem making our meals in the kitchen, but there’s a couple restaurants close by if you’d rather dine out. Cabin is tucked into a somewhat industrial area which was nice because it was plowed out very well, not busy, and very quiet. WiFi and smart tvs for movies and catching up with work/school in the evenings. Easy 30 minute drive to West Yellowstone if you need some “city life”, but we enjoyed the quieter, more isolated atmosphere of Island Park. Highly recommend doing a snowmobile tour of Yellowstone if you’re looking for a relaxing day of easy trail riding and unbelievable scenery. We went with 2 Top rentals, but there are several companies that offer tours. 100% worth every penny to see the park from the seat of a snowmobile with so few people there! Awesome little cabin in a great location. 100% would stay here again.

Quirky cabin
Got in from a 19 hr drive spent 20 minutes shoveling a path to door. Spent another 15 minutes cleaning snow from hottub lid to find it empty. Main heater controls didnt work it was full blast or pilot light, cabin was either 50 or 85 degrees (got to use the swim trunks packed for the hot tub) no wifi network showed up. Bedroom heaters were wierd but did work ok. Everything else was as expected. We’ll probably stay at the pines next time considering its pretty much the same price with all the fees

Fall Break
We had such a fun escape as a little family. We spent time in Yellowstone adventuring and then enjoying soaking in the hot tub in the evenings. Perfect base for fun! Kitchen was just what we needed and beds were comfortable. We didn't want to leave.

Hard to find, no street sign without a GPS would be impossible to find.

Do not arrive after dark
As the title suggests it was so hard to find in the dark because there are no near street lights. There is no street sign and you just pull into a gravel parking lot that looks like its all power plant and warehouse but just next to the shed behind the warehouse is this Vrbo. My dad and husband got out of the car to check it out and before I could even get the code to the key box on my phone they had walked inside- it was UNLOCKED. This was terrifying as the owner had not communicated that this would be the case and my mom proceeded to call this the murder cabin but we did all survive. The only positive to the location is that its only 30 minutes to the West Yellowstone entrance. As for the inside of the cabin it was clean but the dryer required multiple cycles to get anything dry so the towels smell a bit musty. The instructions to the fire place were by the remote on the wall but the remote does not work. My dad found the panel at the bottom of the unit to turn on the heat and it works. That said the first bedroom before the bathroom does not have a working thermostat. The back bedroom does but the going through the bathroom to get to the bedroom is odd and there is a door to the outside from the back bedroom that does not have a deadbolt lock just a door handle lock. The bathroom door to the back bedroom was falling off the top hinge. Shower is super small. Wifi is not as listed on the fridge and no dishwasher. Survived but did not love it.

We have Rented out this cabin for more that 20 years. We have a cleaning lady who cleans and sterilizes the cabin between renters. Our kids have grown up going 'to the cabin'. We try to make it so other families can come enjoy it without breaking the bank, and still have a nice, clean stay.

Why they chose this property

Centrally located, affordable , clean, and cozy. The hot tub on the deck is wonderful after a hard day of sledding or trail riding. There is a large flat screen TV in the living room and smaller TV's in the bedrooms. No satellite, but dvd player is available for use. The river is about 400 yards away making for a nice walk. Relax around a fire outside or enjoy the gas fireplace inside. There is a window mount air conditioner in the kitchen. Great winter access and parking. The cabin was remodeled in 2010.

What makes this property unique

Hot tub, satellite TV, snowmobile parking including the trailer, great winter access. Great affordable family get a way.
