Our highly rated townhouse is located in the Big Sky Resort Mountain Village with unobstructed views of Lake Lavinsky and the Cascade mountains. Our front door is about 100 steps from the Bear Back Poma lift which is a short ride to the bottom of the Silver Knife ski run and the base area. In less than 10 minutes, you could go from the living room to sitting on the new 6-seater Swift Current high speed chair lift or the 8-seater Ramcharger (both lifts have heated seats and optional pull down bubbles).

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property in 2003 when few heard of Big Sky. Being native Flatlanders, we were awed by the majestic mountain views of Montana and the fire & ice contrasts of Yellowstone National Park. The Big Horn townhomes specifically appealed to us because it was one of the few affordable ski-in, ski-out locations at the time. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths were big enough for our needs and our particular unit was on the perimeter of the complex with unobstructed views of the lake and mountains. Since we use this unit a lot for our own vacations, we try to make sure the amenities are what one would expect in their own home. We want this to be a home away from home experience.
