The Space:
The thatched, historic and listed Frisian house from 1893 is located in the north of Germany in the immediate vicinity of Sylt and Denmark. Until 1968, the house was a postcard motif of Hesbüll, served as a post office and housed the Rieber department store. In 2011, it was converted into a modern, cozy vacation home with historical flair. The preservation of the antique wooden ceilings, the combination of modern elements with rustic country house floorboards and antique furniture give the house its special charm. The open kitchen flows into the spacious dining and living area. Relax by the fireplace with music, an exciting movie (satellite TV, DVDs) or with a good book. The house offers the comfort of 2 cozy bedrooms with double bed and each with its own modern shower room. The 1700 square meter property offers enough space to relax and play. While you relax on the terrace, the children can discover nature in the garden.

Getting Around:
The proximity to the North Sea islands of Sylt, Föhr and Amrum and the proximity to Denmark characterize the location of this historic Frisian house.

The extensive landscape of North Friesland offers ideal conditions for long bike rides and walks. The long paths along the dyke are ideal for inline skating. Klanxbüll train station can be reached on foot in 15 minutes and is just one stop away from the island of Sylt. There, beautiful beaches invite you to linger.

Whether you prefer excursions to the nearby dyke museum, the barefoot park, the Noldemuseum or a trip to the Hülltoft Tief bathing lake, the surrounding area offers numerous leisure activities. For beach lovers who prefer to travel by car, we recommend the island of Römö in Denmark. Römö is connected to the mainland by a road. You can park directly on the beach in 45 minutes by car. A paradise for kite flyers, shell hunters and sandcastle builders.

Golf: There are other golf courses on Sylt, Föhr and Römö.

The DVD player can also be used as a CD player for your music via the external speakers.

Bicycles can be rented at the Wiedingharde information center (approx. 1.2 km) in Klanxbüll, or they can be delivered to the house.

A real Nordssestrandkorb is of course also part of the house (May to September).
