The primary bedroom has an en-suite bathroom (with a bathtub) and a large flat screen TV. There are 2 additional spacious bedrooms, and a versatile 4th bedroom/den with a sleeper couch (queen size) flat screen TV, and sliders out to the deck.
The house also comes with 2 adult bicycles, crate wagon, beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys. Perfect Vacation Rental!!! (Returning Customers!!!)

We are returning customers!!!! We are a family of 4 (with a 2 and 4 year old)... Im super clean and picky about where my family sleeps. The Cleanliness of this rental was immaculate! The convenience of the location was a major plus! The house is a 2 minute walk from the park as well as town! The house has an open floor plan, which is great for having kids with you! Plenty of room! The linens were VERY clean, like a five star hotel. Many upgrades to the house were beautifully picked! Its is a light, airy clean house! The Outdoor shower was my favorite part (as well as my kids)... We just booked another week for 2017 and can't wait for many more years to come!

Summer Love

My husband, 13 year old twins and I stayed here last summer. It was a great get-a-way. House was immaculate which was very important to me. It had all the immenties we wanted plus! The Owner was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The location was awesome especially coming with teens that wanted to be near the town in evening time. Short walk to the beach! This was not my first stay at Ocean Beach BUT the FIRST time I am selecting to stay at the same home again this July 2017- already booked!!!!! Pictures are accurate, many times that is not the case. Book It!

Outstanding Beach Rental

Very Clean and Comfortable Beach Home. Fully stocked with everything you need for a Beach getaway. Beach Chairs, Beach Towels, BBQ, Outdoor Shower. This home has it all!!!!

Growing up in Brooklyn was a wonderful experience. I just stepped out of my house, and my block was filled with kids ready to play, and everyone was included. It was a simple but wonderful childhood. That is what Fire Island feels like to me. A low key, care-free, stress free place to get away for the summer.

Why they chose this property

In 1986 I decided to take a half share in a group house in Ocean Beach with my friends. I knew immediately that Fire Island was a unique place, and that it was where I wanted to spend summers for the rest of our lives. Two years later i purchased my home and have spent our summers there ever since. There is no experience that could compare for my children. Summers on Fire Island is what we waited for, and we counted the days all winter long. The freedom, the relaxed and safe environment, the friendships. Where else are children free to go to the movies with their friends, or to the grocery store on their on, or ride their bicycles to a friends house at a young age? Once the island gets into your blood you never want to leave but now that my children are grown and we all work full time we have decided to rent the house.

What makes this property unique

My home is conveniently located close to town and the bay so to walk to the playground, shops and restaurants is a hop, skip and jump away. The beach is 2 short blocks.
Our home was completely gutted after hurricane Sandy so EVERYTHING in the house is a few years old. It is a sun filled ranch with an open concept. It is just a feel good house.
