The apartment, carefully and totally renovated enjoys a central panoramic seaview position and lies only 20 mt. from the beach and sea of maiori, one of the most large sand beach of the amalfi coast area.
Description of the apartment:
first floor, entrance leads into an open - spacious living-room hall/ dining-room with a new american kitchen all set for cooking on one side and where is also placed a special divan-bed for two extra-guests on the either side of the large hall. Two double-bedrooms, one elegant bathroom by mediterranean colours with shower.
Balcony at the first bed-room and a 40 mt.sea front large terrace with shower, table for six people, chears, ombrella on the other bed-room. Ideal spot where to spend a great holidays time for who wants enjoy sea and sun in relaxing position.
If you like the sun and the sea of the South Mediterranean shores, you will love my apartment on the Amalfi Coast. Right above the seaside and beach, its view on the sea and the village is really impressive. The house is lighted by the sun but, also in hot summers, you will enjoy a pleasant temperature as the sea breeze softly blows at your balcony. Even in winter the climate is lovely thanks to the warm Mediterranean waters and to the high mountains, up to one thousand meters high, that protect Maiori from the northern winds. The apartment is new, comfortable, with elegant antic - modern furniture, very light, sunny with terrace facing the sea.
I invite all of you to trust my hospitality. Special care is reserved to foreigners. English, French and Germany is spoken.

Superb location with view to die for.

Maiori was the best choice to stay on the Amalfi coast. Quieter but with great access to the other towns. Ferries and busses depart to all destinations. Our host Massimo was wonderful. Very welcoming and helpful. He organised safe parking for our car at a slightly discounted price. A must if you have a vehicle. The apartment has everything you need. Good, well stocked and appointed kitchen. Large bedrooms, both with balcony access. The large terrace is the outstanding feature. It has a large table and umbrella for shade if the sun is too hot. The view is over the main street and straight out to sea. Just stunning. We spent many evenings out here people watching and of course the beautiful sea. It is on the first floor, no lift, but not too manty stairs. Very safe. Shutters on all windows. Great location for restaurants and bars also. Because you are located at the bottom of Maiori there are no hills or stairs to get to restaurants or the ferry. Very convenient as much of the coast and accommodation choices is of course hilly. Highly recommend. We would love to return.

Book this place !!! Maiori is the most fabulous place on the Amalfi coast especially for families - Massimos apartment is literally on the beach ! Clean apartment- great working kitchen and washer - amazing outdoor decks with full view of ocean- near everything. Massimo is so special - he will host you better than family ! You can use the white noise feature on iPhone if the motorcycles bother you at night - we had 2 small children and all was great - we will be back !!!

Great apartment with a stunning view!

We had the most amazing time in Maiori while staying at Max's apartment. The place was in the best location - on main street, patio overlooking the sea, very close to the ferry port, grocery stores, etc. Max was a wonderful host. He was very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. A very easy check in and check out process. The apartment was well equipped, clean, and spacious for 2 or even 4 people. We loved waking up to the sea view from our room every morning. We would not hesitate to book here again and have already recommended it to some friends.

Lovely time in Maiori

Our stay in Maiori was wonderful. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the street and beach was such a nice way to spend some time here. The apartment had all of the amenities we needed and was very spacious. Max was a very gracious host and made sure we had everything we needed and that all questions were answered. He made us reservations and was very accommodating in every way. We highly recommend a vacation in Maiori and being hosted by Max.

Perfect location and guest host on the Amalfi Coast

We spent 6 days in Maoiri and it has been wonderful. The flat worked out perfectly and the beachfront location can’t be beat. The host Max was a truly thoughtful and interesting host. We enjoyed meeting him and appreciated his consideration. He went out of the way to arrange a special dinner for us at Terre Normanna, which was outstanding. I would highly recommend Maiori and the flat. Everything you need is right nearby, and lots of choices for dining.

This flat is so much better than the pictures can show...

This is a comfortable and lovely apartment in Maiori- so easy the public beach is right across the street, and ferry service is only 5 minutes walk away. There are 2 terraces which we enjoyed immensely. Max is a super host, and we really loved him. Try Maiori- it’s a great little village, with easy access to all of the other spots along the Almafi coast. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and markets should you choose to cook. Highly recommend, and would absolutely rent again.

Perfect!

Maiori is the perfect location on the Amalfi Coast and this apartment is the perfect apartment in Maiori. The beach is directly across the street, restaurants, shops and the ferry to the other Amalfi Coast towns is a five minute walk. The apartment is spacious and to be honest we sat on one or the other of the two patio/balcony more than we were inside. The beach in Maiori is the most expansive and the nicest (sand not rocks). The apartment has everything you need (including comfortable beds!) and Max is very friendly and very helpful with recommendations for things to do, places to eat, and how to get around. There is a little street noise, but when you close up at night, it's minimal and didn't keep us awake at all. We took the ferry to Positano for a day trip, Amalfi for another day trip, and spent a day on the beach in Maiori. Thanks Max for a perfect vacation!

Great stay

We had a great stay here for two weeks in June/July with our 11-year-old son. The property is right across the road from the beach and there are sea views from both bedrooms and both bedrooms also have either a large terrace or a balcony to sit on and admire the sea views. It is very relaxing. The property is air-conditioned which worked well. We found Max the owner to be extremely helpful and he went out of his way at all times to try and help us with restaurant tips, making sure we were comfortable and happy in the apartment, and anything else we needed. He even gave us a couple of bottles of local wine to try. Being right across from the beach was ideal for us as we were a five minute walk to the ferry to anywhere on the Amalfi Coast. There was a bit of noise during the day and night but being right on the beach with heaps of restaurants and shops literally a stones throw away that is what you expect. Maiori is flat and easy to get around compared to many other places on Amalfi Coast. I recommend this apartment for a relaxing beach holiday where everything is at hand.

The ad said it was recently remodeled. We found no evidence of that. Massimo was busy on the phone when we arrived, causing us to wait 1/2 hour. At check-in he reviewed a few things with us like how do use the 3 a/c units.He forgot to tell us they could not all be used at the same time,a breaker to tripped leaving us w/o electricity during the night and in the morning when we got up to leave for the day.After that happened to gave us a whole list of do’s and don’ts so that doesn’t happen again. The key to the front of the building was not working properly, we were locked out several times and we were at the mercy of other tenants to buzz us in. when we reported this to him, he then advised us how to “jiggle” the key correctly to open the door , again not advising us at the time of check-in that this might be a problem. The kitchen window screen was laid against a rusted frame that was useless, patio had 2 of the cheapest/ uncomfortable plastic chairs . the one thing this property does have is a beautiful view right on the beach , this is a busy road. If you were a light sleeper, this might not work for you. Upon check-in we inquired about Wi-Fi It took about 11/2, to set it up. this should have been ready.We had 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 days ,had to ask for more,we were not showed how to operate washer, only enough soap 4 2 loads. 1 bed was not made when we arrived , he asked us if we could make, said no, his wife came Cutlery/dishes were a mishmash of old pieces .

Best Location

We loved Maiori. Max was helpful and friendly. The apartment overlooked the beach and main road. It got a bit noisy at night but it calmed down by midnight. When planning this trip, I thought we would stay in or near Positano or Amalfi. I am so glad we didn't and chose Maiori instead. It was perfect, not too crowded yet plenty of restaurants and amenities. Thanks for having us Max, hope to see again some day.

Host made us feel like locals

The stay in Maiori with Massimo was wonderful. Maiori is a great place to stay on the Amalfi coast because it is less crowded than other cities on the coast, and there is more room to walk around, eat, drive, and park. Massimo (Max) also made us feel like locals. He gave restaurant recommendations and introduced us to the owners. He helped with logistics of our trip, and also offered us local wine to enjoy on the patio! The apartment has room to spread out across three rooms (2 bedrooms and a living room). And it was wonderful to sit on the patio in the morning and in the evening, overlooking the beach.

Unbeatable location, Amazing host

Massimo’s flat in Maiori is fantastic. By far the best part is the location: Right across the street lies the ocean and it’s in close proximity to all the local shops and restaurants. In terms of the Maiori itself, it was our first time on the Amalfi coast, and Maiori was perfect, as it gave us space for the huge amounts of tourism in other areas, but still had plenty to do and sun to enjoy. Massimo is such a gracious host. He always pulls strings and is willing to accommodate in any way. For example, there wasn’t strong Wi-fi in our flat, which was a small problem due to us working remotely. Massimo brought a long ethernet cable that we could hook into directly to speed things up for us. We plan to stay in touch with Max and visit him again soon! Thanks, Max!!!

This location is spot on for anyone interested in a jumping off point for amalfi destinations-but honestly the easy beach access alone is amazing, and probably my favorite beach or the trip. Host is so polite and helpful, with amazing restaurant and destination recommendations, even helped us find parking and assist with bags. Great VRBO experience! Thank you, Max!

6/11/22 for VRBO Our host was extremely talkative when we arrived specifically about the air conditioning and for 15 minutes about the recycling instructions, but there were no written instructions for anything: How to use the stove How to use the a/c Bus schedules Taxi contacts Area excursions or markets Critical: No wi-fi available--the one suggested did not work. Not until 7 1/2 hours after our check in did he finally relent and give us the network info for his personal network. But then the wi fi only worked on the patio, not in the apartment. There were no screens on the doors and mosquitoes got in. Doors had to remain closed for the a/c to work. The noise was unaccceptable--Max's apt is directly on the main drag in Maiori--cars, buses, motor scooters and ambulance traffic persisted until well past midnight. There is no light on the patio. My sister and I had to wait until 10 am the morning following our check in to get a second set of keys, thus necessitating us tag teaming when one of us wanted to go down to the beach or out for a walk. No laundry detergent supplied until we asked. Too much negative to make up for the location "across from the beach." American travelers will be shocked to discover that the beaches with chaise lounges and umbrellas cost 20 euros a day to use, provided you purchase a drink. If you want to purchase an umbrella of your own (we left ours there--perhaps future guests can borrow it) you may use the free beach. We went at the end of May, first of June in a blazing heat wave. The sand on the beach is black and hot. Again, no amount of proximity to the beach can make up for any of this.

Sea front property

The apartment was so convenient to everything in Maiori. Restaurants, shops and the ferry stop were all really close. Massimo is a great host and is happy to provide recommendations and assistance. Apartment is located on the main street and balcony overlooks the water. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be the best location for you as there is some street noise but the views cannot be beat. Apartment is great for a couple and has all you need.

Location, location, location

Aside from Massimo and his wife being the most amazing hosts ever, the next best thing is the location of this VRBO! This is a great spot close enough to the Amalfi Coast, with our the congestion of the Amalfi Coast. The hosts are just delightful to visit with (our three grown children loved the conversation they shared - as Massimo is a teacher at the local hospitality program offered to the local youth) and they make you feel like family when you stay at their place! They welcomed us with a lovely bottle of wine, walked us through the apartment and answered all our questions both before arrival and during our stay! Book this place, you won't be disappointed! (probably works better for 4, rather than 6, but the pull out sofa works fine if you are easily adaptable!)
