Very conveniently located, this low country cottage is perfect for a get away to St. Simons Island. It is a 10 minute bike ride to the Village, the Beach (coast guard station) or Redfern village (home to some of the best restaurants and shopping on the Island). Located in the quietest neighborhood on the south end of St. Simons, it sits on the corner of the oldest road in Georgia; Military Road - the road that General James Oglethorpe used to move his men between Fort Frederica and the southern end of the Island. It is also within an easy walk of bloody marsh where the famous battle of bloody marsh was fought at the tail end of the War of Jenkins Ear. We only accept renters that are 45 days or longer. Thanks for understanding.
