Two week stay in the Hudson River Valley
Wonderful renovated c. 1820 home in a small community one mile from the Hudson River, hosted by a gracious couple who brought us freshly made dinner one night, and fresh eggs from their chicken coop a few days later. The house is creative, quirky, creaky, filled with art, books, and music. A well equipped kitchen included even a vintage Waring Blender that rivals our fancy blender at home - usually we forgo morning smoothies when staying away from home. Lovely gardens to enjoy was a bonus. This is a great location, and better, a great experience.

Beautiful and quiet NY getaway
We had such a lovely time at the property, enjoying the beautiful art and garden as well as the surrounding area. Bobby was very easy to get in touch with and we cannot wait to return. Having Hudson and other charming towns so close was great for grabbing lunch and dinner but it was also wonderful to have a full kitchen where we were able to cook at home and take advantage of the amazing local produce.
