About this property

Located near Grasse, the 'Bastide Saint Philippe', is surrounded by a 3300 sq. meters closed garden, in a protected area. The private private swimming pool (11,8 m x 4,8 m with roller security system) and its solariums with awning, is very peaceful and relaxing . The pool-house includes a summer kitchen, , perfect to those lazy holiday evenenings. A private tennis court will suit 'amateur' players.
Bicycles are provided to explore the local countryside. Babyfoot, and 2 ping pong areas, petanque, swings, and securized playing area for small children are also available.
Inside, the villa's recent decoration is a modern interpretation of the traditional Provencal style. All equipment is very recent. A large "high technology" veranda with open access to the living room and to the kitchen , provides additional space and allows to overview the pool, tennis and garden.

the village: The village of Saint Vallier de Thiey is within 3 minutes by car.
You will find there shops, restaurants, 2 super markets, post, bank services and pharmacy.

At 10 km : a very typical village, called Cabris

At 10 km : Grasse, 'Ville d'Art' and World Perfume Capital.

At 30 km : Cannes, and la Croisette

Our private pool: is equipped with a clever sun heating system, which allows to benefit of a very pleasant temperature of water, during the sunny period.
During the months where the sun is less kind, an electric heating system can also be switched on .
The water of the pool is sterilized with 'ozone', which allows to reduce the quantity of chlorin. So the water is
very pure, soft, and does not have any 'chlorin perfume', which is a good thing for the kids who remain all day long in the pool !
Furthermore, our pool is checked every week, to make sure that the whole system is working correctly and that the Ph data are OK.

Our villa is a paradise also for children and for babies. A special secured playing area is available for juniors (with children house, tobogan, and various toys), just near our petanque . So, parents may play petanque and keep an eye on their small
kids. Babies will find all equipments at their sizes (high chairs, cots, bath, pushchairs, gaming carpets .....)

Beautiful Bastide St Phillips

We have just spent a week in this beautiful house. It’s everything you could wish for and more. Very Provençal furnishings and set in stunning grounds . Nadia was incredibly responsive and helpful. You definitely need a car as local amenities are a few miles away. The roads up through Grasse are quite challenging! Would be perfect for all age groups with the facilities at the Villa

Wunderschöne Villa in einer wunderschönen Gegend

Diese schöne, geräumige Villa ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig. Von den ausführlichen Tipps und Infos vor Ankunft und dem herzlichen Willkommen durch die Vermieterin Nadia bis hin zu der gut ausgestatteten Villa selbst, dem riesigen Garten und natürlich dem großen Pool war alles perfekt organisiert und wir konnten einen entspannten Familienurlaub genießen. Der Ort St. Vallier de Thiey ist mit seinem ursprünglichen Charme viel schöner als die größeren Touristenstädte an der Küste! Empfehlen können wir jedenfalls den örtlichen Restaurants und besonders den beiden Boulangeries! Wir würden gerne zurückkehren in die Bastide Saint Philippe.

Vakantiewoning Sint-Vallier-de-Thiey

We had a great holiday in this villa. All we needed was available and there was a lot of space for everybody, even the little ones. It is equiped for 2 families, handy to have 3 fridges and 2 dishwashers. We were happy with the number of sunbets and the hammock. The children’s playground was great and the swimming pool was clean. We guess there is a wasp nest in the neighbourhood. They liked swimming too 😜. If we come back to this region, we certainly will think of your place again.

We fell in love with this house in 2000. It looked as a jewel among the Nature, far from the crowd but however not too far from the Coast ! We thought it would be a perfect residence for our holidays. In fact, we love it so much that every year we spend our holidays working hard to improve it, and make it more and more comfortable and beautiful.... So, over the last years, we only rested some minutes in our blue sun beds !!! but we are so happy with the changes we have made ourselves in our villa. .

Why they chose this property

When we happened to book a villa for our holidays , we were often disappointed by the minimum services offered, by a lack of hospitality, and by a 'standard' decoration with no harmony. So, we have tried to offer to our visitors exactly the opposite : hospitality, services, harmony, and friendly contacts. In other words, we want that our visitors feel at home, in their own house for a while, with everything they may need.

What makes this property unique

We are therefore quite happy to share our beautiful 'Bastide
Saint Philippe' with many families, who appreciate our efforts, and
spend peaceful holidays in our beloved Bastide. As they feel so well, they take great care of our house, and this is our reward.
