This spacious high specification vacation apartment with private garden in Estepona Costa del Sol has been furnished and fitted out to a very high standard. It is situated in the very popular Costa Galera Resort which has beautiful romantic Tropical Gardens with 6 outdoor Pools. There is an impressive split-level pool with bar only 25 meters from the front door of the apartment.

The Costa del Sol Region: Over the last few decades, the Costa del Sol has become one of the world’s most popular holiday destinations. Its pleasant climate, numerous beaches and Golf courses have certainly influenced this. There are countless places to visit and things to do which make it one of the most successful tourist areas in Europe. Its capital, Malaga, and the city of Marbella are both cosmopolitan cities with great night life as well as cultural significance and attract the most tourists. It is a vast area with many different faces from the touristy beach towns like Marbella to the more traditional white washed villages of Mijas. The Costa del Sol doesn’t just posses good climate but it also has diversity. It is no wonder it is so popular with holiday makers.

Local attractions : They are several attractions close by to interest the whole family. Selwo Safari Park in Estepona with its animals roaming semi-wild is a great day out as is the Zoo in Fuengirola. There are also two Water Parks close by, in Mijas Costa and in Torremolinos. A great day out is a visit to Gibraltar, (bring your passport) where you can take a tour of 'The Rock' and have close contact with the Apes. For the more adventurous, you can also take a day trip to Morocco on the fast Ferry from Algeciras. Also in the area are several beautiful villages, towns and cites. These include Casares , Benhavis, Ronda, Mijas, Selville and Granada to name but a few.

If you prefer to swim in the sea, the beautiful beaches of Casares, Estepona, Sotogrande, Puerto Banus and Marbella are only a few minutes away by car.

Estepona Region: The property is situated between the charming old town of Estepona and the lovely Puerto de La Duquesa, both only a few minutes drive away. Cosmopolitan Marbella (great for shopping) and the dazzling Puerto Banus (great for people watching) are only 15/20 minutes away and the lively resorts of Fuengerola and Torrelmolinos are within easy reach by car, bus or taxi. Malaga airport is only a 50 minute drive. Other airports include Gibraltar(30 minutes) and Jerez (75 minutes). Gibraltar and its attractions, are a 30 minute drive away, dolphin safari and boat trips can be booked there. The fast ferry to Morrocco which goes from Algeciras is only a 40 minute drive from the apartment. There are several golf courses nearby, the closest being Estopona and Duquesa. The famous Valderama course is only a 15 minute drive away. The beautiful whitewashed village of Caseras is also only a 15 minute drive, and the ancient town of Ronda, with its breathtaking views is just a further 45 minutes.

good property, location suboptimal
overall, a decent apartment, although the last couple of weeks we were there, there were problems with water, which was dirty and looked like there was mould in it. The location was not perfect, since it was about 1000 from the mediterranean and separated from it by a very busy four lane highway. A car was required for everything. The property manager was helpful. More clean linens would also be helpful.

todo estuvo bien, pero habían cosas a mejorar: el chiringuito de la piscina estaba cerrado y no nos indicaron dicho cierre, la limpieza habían cosas que estaban sucias y sobre todo las camas para cambiarlas todas, a mi hijo las dos camas se le incaban los muelles de dichas.

Buen apartamento con matices
En general el apartamento está muy completo. Las camas son muy cómodas, no así los sofás, que están pidiendo un cambio. Tiene de todo para pasar una estancia agradable, pero me gustaría masticar algunas cosas: -estaría bien que a la llegada los baños tuvieran al menos un rollo de papel higiénico. Ninguno de los dos baños tenía, cuando en las características del apartamento lo publicitan -La limpieza, deficiente. Algunos útiles de cocina tuvimos que limpiarlos nosotros antes de su uso, así como suciedad en suelo y muebles. Suerte que ninguno somos alérgicos al polvo. -Deberían avisar que el horario de piscina se reduce en septiembre. Durante el verano la piscina se abre a diario de 10 a 21 horas. Pero en septiembre los lunes directamente está cerrada, y el resto de días abren de 11 a 19 horas. Eso se avisa antes de contratar el apartamento -El bar junto a la piscina también está cerrado, pero es que lleva cerrado desde al menos el 2021 según me dijo una persona de la urbanización. Eso también deberían avisarlo -El jardín que sale en las fotos es, en realidad, más pequeño que lo que se ve en las fotos. Aunque esto es de menor importancia, pues el jardín que tiene es suficiente para disfrutarlo, pero que actualicen la foto para que no haya engaños. En resumen, el apartamento está bien para pasar unos días, la piscina está muy bien, y la zona es muy tranquila. Pero deberían cuidar un poco los detalles.
