A lovely cottage in near Gourdon

We enjoyed a lovely holiday in Roufilhac in Gaelle's cottage. We spent lots of time going to markets, swimming in the Dordogne river, canoeing and spending peaceful afternoons by the cottage's own pool. The kitchen was well supplied with everything needed to cook some of the delicious food available at the markets. Gaelle was very helpful and prompt with communications. We would certainly love to come and stay again in Roufilhac if we get the chance.

Idyllisches Anwesen

Wir waren mit unseren 2 Kindern (beide 8) und Oma und Opa in den Pfingstferien dort. Wir haben das Haus, den fantasievollen und idyllischen Garten mit den vielen verschiedenen Sitzplätzen draußen sehr genossen. Der Pool war das absolute Highlight für die Kinder, war aber auch für alle groß genug. Bei den kühlen Temperaturen zu Beginn waren die 25 Grad vom Wasser sehr angenehmen. Gegen Ende des Urlaubs fing eine Hitzewelle an. Auch dann war das Wasser sehr erfrischende und im Haus blieb es abgedunkelt angenehm kühl. Gerne haben wir gemeinsam in der gut ausgestatteten Küche gekocht, sind aber auch oft Essen gegangen. Wir haben viele Sehenswürdigkeiten von dort aus besuchen können: die Höhlen von Cougnac als Vorbereitung für unseren Besuch bei Lascaux 4, dann an einem Tag Burg Beynac und 5 Minuten weiter weg die herrlichen Gärten von Marqueyssac. In Sarlat waren wir zweimal und können das Restaurant L'Entrepôte herzlich empfehlen. Alles gut erreichbar in ca. einer halben Stunde vom Ferienhaus. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Gaëlle und Paul für alles! Wir kommen wieder!

Séjour reposant et ressourçant
