On the "Loire à vélo" route, between Loire and Canal Latéral à la Loire

Our cottage was classified 3 *** in 2016 by the Ministry of Tourism.
To have a good time with friends, for family holidays, the cottage welcomes you comfortably in a relaxing site, close to the small port of Marseilles lès Aubigny.
It consists of 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with 2 single beds), a kitchen area open to the living and dining area, a bathroom (shower) with WC.
The decoration is simple and contemporary.
You go directly to the towpath and the lateral canal to the Loire by the stone staircase, at the bottom of the garden. From there, as on the Loire side, you also join the "Loire à vélo" route.
After a bike ride or a walk along the canal, relax in the garden while tasting a Chavignol crottin accompanied by a glass of Pouilly Fumé or a fresh Sancerre.
Golfers will enjoy the 9-hole golf course at St Hilaire de Gondilly or Sancerre.
Riders will find an equestrian center within 15 minutes.
Each getaway will be an opportunity for wine lovers to discover the Sancerre, Pouilly, Coteaux du Giennois or Coteaux Charitois and we will share with you our gastronomic favorites.
You will find bicycle and canoe hire companies at La Charité / Loire.

To discover in the surroundings:
The Cistercian Abbey of Fontmorigny (6 km) whose history is also linked to the development of the steel industry. Each summer, classical concerts are given there.
The village of Cuffy and the canal bridge spanning the Allier, the village of Apremont sur Allier (one of the most beautiful villages in France and its floral park)
The Halle de Grossouvre dedicated to the industrial history of the Cher (designed by Jamy, animator 'C'est pas sorcier').

On the other bank of the Loire, Nièvre side, in Burgundy:
La Charité sur Loire: Word Festival in late May-early June, Blues Festival in Loire in August (15 km)
Nevers: D'JAZZ Festival in Nevers, faience and fine arts museum (17 km)
30 km away, the Magny-Cours racing circuit
The medieval castle of Guénelon is located about 1 hour from the cottage
