About this property

Luxuriously appointed one-bedroom condo in the Union Building (built 2014) in the heart of downtown Victoria, BC. (If this unit is booked, please also see our other listing at same location Vrbo/1024853.)

A perfect location 1/2 a block from the Inner Harbour, the building spans the entire block between Chinatown to the north and Market Square to the south.

Our top-floor suite affords a spectacular south-facing view over the heritage brick buildings of Old Town, to the inner harbour and Olympic Mountains beyond. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from the small balcony or the living room's comfortable leather furniture.

The 9-foot ceilings and full-height windows allow lots of natural light. The bedroom has a comfy queen-size bed ... and room-darkening blinds for your afternoon naps.

Extra guests can be accommodated with the queen-size sofa-bed, and we also have a Pak'N'Play + bedding for your little one. The full kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare gourmet meals.

In-suite laundry is provided, and other amenities include telephone, cable + a Smart 4K UHDTV, Netflix, free Wifi internet, air-conditioning, board games, and 1 parking spot in our enclosed, underground parkade.

The harbour ferry stops one block away ... take a tour of the Gorge waterway or go for fish & chips at Fisherman's Wharf.

There are numerous excellent restaurants within a few blocks, including Swan's Brewpub, II Terrazzo, ulla, Green Cuisine Vegetarian, Canoe Brewpub, Brasserie L'Ecole, to name just a few.

We will meet you upon arrival (we don't do self check-in), to ensure that you have everything you need and answer any questions that you may have. We will be happy to send you info and links prior to your stay, for everything from our recommended restaurant list to transportation info (even bike and kayak rentals)... just ask!

Winter Retreat

Property was as advertised on VRBO. Owners met us at the entrance and showed us around the condo on day1 and connected with us about a week later to make sure we had everything we needed. Condo is central to downtown Victoria with its many restaurants and attractions. My wife and I were very comfortable in this condo unit and extremely secure building.

Close to everything

What a wonderful spot to use as a home base!! It’s literally next door to China town and we were able to walk to everything downtown. I enjoyed standing on the small balcony and watching the activities gone on below. It’s a very clean, comfortable, well stocked place to stay.

Great location for a couples vacation

Great location close to lots of great dining. The hosts are incredibly kind and caring. We cannot say enough good things about them both. The unit was clean and very comfortable for the two of us. I would definitely reccomend this place for a quiet little get away. Definitely not good for families. The security of the bldg is excellent. Thanks again to Karen and Tom. Mahalo for your generosity!

Best stay!!!

The owner met us on our check in time and spent time to explain how to get in and out with our car and on foot and where to go to eat. The place is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The washer and dryer helps a lot especially with swimming, hiking, and outdoor activities. Awesome view of the city, the sea, and the mountains. Bathroom is very clean, kitchen is well equipped. The area has a lot of restaurants to go to. Very close to FanTan Alley, awesome breakfast places, and authentic chinese food!!! Only 15 min walk to the Legislature. Close to amenities. Felt safe and parking is easy.
