BIG WHITE - SKI IN / SKI OUT TOWN HOUSE

Blacksmith Lodge is a large modern luxurious ski in / ski out town house with stunning views over the Monashee Mountains. (Property immediately borders the run that links to Plaza, Ridge Rocket and Snow Ghost lifts or 200m walk to link to the Gondola lift run). It is perfectly located within easy walking distance of everywhere you would want to go – town center, lifts, restaurants, bars, Happy Valley facilities etc.

There is a large private outdoor hot tub for your enjoyment which along with a nice glass of wine is a perfect muscle relaxant after a wonderful day on the slopes, and prior to dinner prepared from the beautiful gourmet kitchen or a local restaurant. There is also a large stainless steel BBQ on the rear patio. You may prefer to relax on the large leather sofas in front of the gas fire and watch a movie ahead of another busy day on the slopes.

There are two master bedrooms, one with king bed and one with queen bed, both have en-suite bathrooms. The king master has a electric/gas fire. The third bedroom has a comfortable L shaped 5 seater sofa and a single and twin bunk beds. This bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom.

The Den has a workstation and computer with a view down the mountain from where you can catch up with emails and any other matters where contact with the real world is necessary. The den also has a single chair bed.

The property is immediately next to one of the runs so ski in / ski out could not be simpler. Ski and boarding equipment is stored in the garage from where you can access the run. Access to the property can be made via the garage electronic key pad which enables easy access with ski equipment and avoids the potential of lost keys.

Great place!

The townhouse is a great option for staying at Big White! Ski-in ski-out is super straightforward and short. Place is neat clean and well-arranged, the hot tub works well and the common room is great for hanging out. Robin is extremely communicative and was in touch throughout the time before the rental dates, during and after, with helpful suggestions. Was a little bit confused by the listing saying "9 beds, sleeps 8". To clarify, the sleeping arrangements are: king, queen, and four single-person places.

Best property in Big White!

I can’t say enough good things about this property! Perfect location-a quick walk, then able to put the skis on and be at the Ridge Rocket, Snow Ghost or Plaza Chair lifts within about 2 minutes. Or, a quick 5 minute walk to Lara’s Gondola to head to the village. Perfect location to be able to head back off the slopes for lunch every day. The townhouse is immaculate, and perfect for our family of 5. The kitchen was very well equipped. Having the hot tub to soak in at the end of every day was like heaven! When we arrived, the gas fireplace would not come on. I called the Big White contact person that Robin had said to call if there were any problems. She was there within 15 minutes to turn the gas on and get it running. You simply cannot go wrong renting this property -there is no better place on the hill! Robin is always super prompt returning any emails I have sent him, and is a very pleasant and helpful gentleman.

The place is clean and well-furnished including the kitchen which has everything you need to cook. Just a short walk to the happy valley run. It might not be the biggest place but the layout is very efficient and can't beat what you get for the price.

Great ski-in, ski-out chalet for two families

Our two families of four had a wonderful time, making great memories at Big White, and our stay at Robin's townhome. Firstly, the proximity of the townhome to the village was so convenient. It was either a ten-minute walk up the hill, or a five-minute walk down to Lara's Gondola to catch it up to the village. Secondly, the lay-out of the house was perfect for our needs. The top floor has two master bedrooms with ensuites, and the washer/dryer were there too. The main floor had a well-equipped kitchen, the dining room and the world's most comfortable couch in the living. Our kids loved the bottom level. They slept in the bunkbeds and really appreciated that they had their own couch, TV and play area to "hang out" while the parents were upstairs making meals or having apres ski beverages. Finally, Robin is very responsive to communication and was a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone going to Big White.

Big White Magic

Our accommodation was a wonderful place to stay for our family of 6 adults plus 1 toddler. Plenty of space, well equipped 3 bedroom plus study town house/ villa. Hot tub was enjoyed by skiers! Easy to access village and gondola for up and down the mountain. Family would recommend for some great skiing.

Wonderful on mountain town home!

This unit was perfect for us. We had the king master with our own bath, our 22 year old daughter had the queen master with her own bath (which she LOVED), her boyfriend had his own space with the fold out twin in the den, and our 20 year old son and his two friends had their own space and bathroom on the bottom floor. We never felt crowded. Plus, the ski in/out set up was almost perfect (you have to take off your skis and walk a little ways back to the unit, but not bad). We really like Big White, and if we come back with a large group, we'd definitely book this town home again. Thank you, Robin!

A truly fantastic chalet.

The kitchen was incredibly well equipped with every utensil and gadget necessary (including a panini maker and a croc pot), the living space was plentiful and every bed was super comfortable with great pillows. Thank you for a perfect week.

Good ski in & out location on the mountain, with a comfortable kitchen, dining & lounge space.

The townhouse was in a good spot for ski in and ski out, within easy walking/skiing distance to the Village and skating & tube park. The living and sleeping space was just right for our family party of six, with a soft king bed, a firm queen bed and 3 singles. We appreciated the private hot tub at the end of full days playing in the snow.

Impressive Property!

This property exceeded our expectations. The location was convenient for access to the Ridge Rocket, Snow Ghost and Plaza chairs as well as the Happy Valley area. This well taken care of three bedroom property provided our family of six ample space and yet has a cozy feel. We were impressed by the nicely appointed kitchen and the owners atention to detail with regards to the instruction binder that answered any questions we had. The south view of happy valley was great for the Saturday night fireworks! I would recommend this property.

Excellent Spot

This is a great unit, it is spacious and great for 2 couples + 3 or 4 singles. All 3 bedrooms have ensuite full baths (this is rare and makes things so much more private). The kitchen is very well equipped with modern appliances, utensils and cookware. Ski on (to the ridge rocket) is maybe 10 steps. The communication with the owner is extremely quick, efficient and professional. I would stay here again without any reservations.

Great place, very helpful host

We had a great stay here. Couldn't be much better placed - you ski to the driveway on your way in and <1 min walk to get on the slope to a lift when you leave. House is well equipped, clean and easily held our group of 5 adults. Would definitely stay here again if back for more Big White powder.

Great house - great location

Excellent location to stay - it is right of the main road so it is easy to find when you are driving into the village. House is clean and cozy and is fully equipped with everything one might need while on vacation - all is left to bring is the food. Fits 7 easily and comfortably with privacy for all. Location is awesome and makes it easy ski-in/ski out, as well as very close to the skating rink and tubing park below. about 5 min walk by foot from the village center.

Great Vacation Spot ..

An excellent place to stay. We were 4 adults, 2 boys and could not have asked for better accommodation. Access was simple, a 100m walk with skis to the ski run that ran to the Gondola. There was nothing wrong at all, and the views and snow made it so much better. Definitely plan on coming back ..

Beautifully Decorated and Nicely Furnished! Very Comfortable.

We stayed for over a week and never got tired of the place. The views were incredible from both sides of the townhome. Access was great - just a bit of a walk to get to the ski out to the gondola. A few families were staying at Big White the same time as us, and all other families voted our place as the 'nicest'. The owner is very easy to deal with and is super friendly. Definitley working on coming back next year!

Great place to stay at Big White

We stayed here for 3 nights in late January and it was excellent, great location. I was a bit concerned that there were no reviews yet but spoke with the owner, he had just acquired it, nice guy to deal with. It was a bit on the tight side with 9 adults but manageable. I've stayed at one other condo in Big white but this one was nicer and in a better location - I recommend it and will book again next time I am there.
