The neighborhood
Although situated in the heart of the old town, just away from the main commercial street, Sokratous str., and the Palace of the Grand Master, it is so peaceful that you will feel like being in the medieval countryside. You can find everything, from restaurants, coffees, bars, mini markets, and souvenir shops, within walking distance and 15min walking distance from the beach.
Old Town
Everything in Medieval Town is within walking distance. The Old Town is surrounded by medieval walls, that through the imposing gates take to the new town. The closest gate to our home is the “Amboise gate”. In medieval town, traffic is restricted only to residents. You will appreciate it while strolling around the pebbled alleys.
New Town
Public transportation when you move in the New Town is not needed. The closest beaches are Elli beach, and at the top of the island, you have the Aquarium beach, where you can choose if you want to swim on the east or west coast of the island!
The island
There are buses that will take you to Rhodes's main attractions. We would suggest renting a car for a few days to explore the island of Rhodes. We are at your disposal if you need information regarding renting a car.
