About this property

Archipel Mansion, Caldera View

Archipel Mansion accommodates up to 8 guests and consists of the Mansion and the Guest House, which has two independent cottages with private entrance to each part.
The property is united around a luxuriant, sun-drenched courtyard with various alfresco seating and dining areas. The nature and flow of the compound lends itself to freedom of movement and privacy for all.
The Mansion, family owned for centuries, boasts a rich history. The house has been reconstructed taking the form of a contemporary interpretation of the neo-classical style, which was popular amongst the affluent inhabitants of the island around the 19th century. Highlights of the home include striking domes, thick walls and vaulted ceilings – the symbiosis of old and new results in an atmosphere of understated luxury and authenticity.

The location is hard to beat. Unsurpassed views overlooking the world famous Volcano, nestled in an unspoiled and discreet neighbourhood – and rather importantly – easy entrance to the Mansion. This translates into no endless footpaths, uphill and hard to navigate stairs to reach your accommodation.
If its hustle and bustle you’re after, the heart of Fira and Firostefani is a mere ten minute leisurely stroll away.
The décor is a delightful and eclectic mix of family heirlooms, modern pieces, old engravings, original paintings and treasures which are a feast to the eye. The effortless style is welcoming, comforting and one feels relaxed the moment you enter.

100% exceeded our expectations.

Centrally located in Santorini, this beautiful, stunning mansion had panoramic views of the sea. Sunrise and sunset from the balcony/porch were breathtaking. Constantine was so helpful to coordinate many wonderful adventures on the island. He brought us delicious breakfast every morning and we cannot say enough how wonderful it was to have his guidance for our 2 families traveling together. 10+/10

Above and beyond all expectations

A group of 9 of us stayed at the mansion in late August for 3 nights but we are wishing it was a lot longer. Angeliki, the mansion manager, went above and beyond in every aspect. Because we almost got scammed via another website we were skeptical and wanted to make sure our transaction was secure and she jumped thru hoops to ensure it was but this is just the beginning of her amazing service. Santorini is a confusing island with lots of twists and turns but that's part of the fun (I think). The mansion is at the top of a hill and definitely in the cut so the right turn to get to it is little blind and unmarked. If you make it to the Salt & Pepper restaurant, you went too far. There is no parking on site but right outside of the property you can park if there is available space or approx. a block away is a parking lot which usually had a lot of free spaces for ATVs and cars. Lastly and what is probably most important - the service we received from Angie (property manager) and Violetta (housekeeper). There arent words that can explain how amazing they were. Angie made sure everything was perfect from day one. She arranged a delicious breakfast every day we were there and also managed to help me arrange a surprise birthday dinner at the mansion for my friend's birthday. She hung a banners and signs, even blew up balloons and wouldnt let me help her with anything. And Violetta was so sweet and amazing - while we were at breakfast she slipped into the rooms and cleaned them in record time. I was seriously amazed at how we would go to breakfast and return to the room and everything is straightened up, bed made, etc. I mean WOW - that level of service and the extra effort to make our stay amazing is unheard of in today's times. I cannot say enough about our experience at the mansion and look forward to returning in the next year or two. Angie and Violetta - thank you both for everything you did for us.
