This chalet offers 4 bedrooms each with en suite bathroom or wet room and/or its own toilet. The new chalet has been tastefully furnished and combines modernity with tradition. It offers all comfort needed for a successful holiday. In each bedroom, there are large closets, a hair dryer, and coffers for both bedrooms with large beds and 3D TVs, as well as DVD player. The chalet is linked to an Internet connection, allowing a very good reception. This chalet also has a ski room (15 sq.m) with a shoe dryer, a glover dryer, a helmet dryer, and a ski storage. There is a large terrace (25 sq.m) with a table and chairs as well as sun loungers in order to enjoy the sun. As the resort is linked to the ski region Les Trois Vallées, it allows high quality skiing and to vary between skiing in Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Méribel or Courchevel.

A cosy and idyllic alpine chalet!

We could not have been more impressed with the Chalet Markhov -- it was everything we had expected from the listing and more. The property manager, Florence, was very helpful in accommodating our late checkin, with timely responses to all of our questions. The location was perfect for us, in the heart of Saint Martin de Belleville -- a charming village with cobbled streets and a culinary flare. The chalet itself was pristinely clean, incredibly charming, and had all the amenities we could need during our week-long stay (the spa was our favourite!). We were a group of 9 and fit comfortably, with each room having an ensuite. The common areas were perfect for cooking dinners, playing games, and indulging in a few apres-skis. The only regret we had was that we had to check out! We will definitely be staying here on our next visit to St Martin. Thank you, Sandrine!

The perfect week away with friends

The chalet is positioned just on the right as you come into St.Martin, really easy to find. Parking opposite with loads of space. Inside, the entrance hall/boot room is spacious and warm with underfloor heating and boot driers in a cupboard. All the bedrooms were nicely prepared, comfortable and cosy and the pull out beds in the kids rooms were very convenient. Although they do take up a lot of floor space and need to be put away when you're in the house. Both double bedrooms were really well equipped - note that the main bedroom is downstairs near the kids and the smaller double is off of the Living area - this worked fine for us. Those that get up early go in the room off the living area! Bathrooms were all sparkling with brilliant showers and heated towel rails. The Kitchen is spectacularly well equipped - a meat slicer and a soda stream I was not expecting! The living and dining area were no different - literally dozens of glasses and plates and the log burner was a special treat but beware to read the manual and make sure you've opened the upper vent. It's a 5 minute walk uphill to a button lift from where you can ski into the queue for the bubble lift. There are plenty of ski hire shops to choose from - we didn't book in advance and had no problems. Cashpoint a 3 minute walk at the Credit Agricole and a really well equipped 8 til 8. We also used the deli for freshly cooked chicken and dauphinoise potatoes. We really liked the freedom of being self-catered and didn't miss a catered chalet at all; we had a really super stay at Chalet Markhor -in fact one of our best ever holidays. Thank you.

Wonderful modern and well maintained chalet.

Our family of four had an excellent week at Chalet Markhor. Sandrine was a very responsive host who made sure that we were well taken care of. She responded quickly to my numerous emails. The chalet is cozy with 1 queen bedroom on the main floor and 3 bedrooms on the lower floor (another queen and two rooms with bunk beds). There’s an excellent entry with lots of hooks and a built in boot dryer. The walk to the ski lifts is 7-10 minutes up a fairly steep hill. Our 11 and 7 year old daughters did it everyday but there was some complaining- it warmed uo their legs for skiing. The kitchen is very well equipped and modern. The sitting area is comfortable for a small group but if the chalet was full (8 people) it would be tight. There’s a nice deck and outside fire pit. St Martin is a very cute village and easily accessible to all of the 3 Vallees.
