Short visit
Marj and the puppies, Simon and Max were lovely hosts!!! Very quiet fishing town. Walk to the lighthouse and short walk to quaint shops/eateries. Across the street from the coast we saw beautiful sunrises and windsurfers. We went to cape cod one day, Salem, and visit our son 40 minutes away. I would stay again(and kidnap Max!💕)

Area Visit with Friends and Family
Instead of staying for 3 weeks with relatives, we chose to stay at Marj's VRBO. This location is wonderful - walking to beaches/lighthouse, close to the harbor restaurants and shops. It has everything you need for a visit. And if you need area advice, Marj is extremely knowledgeable. She's a fabulous host! Simon and Max are adorable doggie hosts, too! Lying in bed listening to the ocean waves is great!

Amazing vacation
We wanted to visit the historic sites in and around Boston to Cape Cod. So we were looking for a place in between and found this beautiful place in Scituate. Our host was fascinating, exciting to talk to and get information on the town and surrounding area. We could not of found a better place. Highly recommend!!

About the host

Host profile image
I am one of a handful of lucky folks that get to eek out a living as an artist. My main focus is melting glass although I draw, dabble in paint, and I am a metalsmith, and fiber artist as well. My main website is glassthingsdotcom. I live a small simple life here with my puppy Simon. We take walks every day and share a lot of laughs with passerbys and a handful of wonderful friends.

Why they chose this property

I meet the most wonderful people as a host! I have lived in town for 50 years. If you are looking for something I am pretty sure I can find it for you or direct you to it.
I am a pretty busy lady and will be around as much or as little as you wish. You will be the boss of this!

What makes this property unique

We are pretty low key here. It is truly important to me my guests have a wonderful, and relaxing visit with us. Fall asleep with the lull of the ocean waves. Awake each day and enjoy fresh brewed coffee and a little something or visit Sams in the harbor where all the locals go for a full breakfast!
