Highly Recommended

Rooms are very spacious, the pool area is lovely and there were always enough sunbeds without the need to get up early. The hotel is situated in a lovely peaceful location but only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Malia in one direction and Stalis in the other direction. It was a short walk to the bus stop to get the bus into Heraklion. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby and Malia Old Town is definitely worth a visit in the evening for a nice meal in traditional surroundings. I would definitely recommend The Socrates Hotel and I would definitely return
