About this property

We're in a quiet neighborhood-- a quick bike ride away from SXSW (5-10 min) and close to popular restaurants & coffee shops. East Austin is a great place to stay during your visit! It is close to downtown, the beautiful capital building, and the I-35 corridor. Not to mention, it's in the heart of one of the hottest neighborhoods in America-- filled with great eats and drinks.

When you need some down time, our outdoor spaces are great for hanging out. There's a 600 sq. ft deck right off the master.

What sets our house apart from others in our neighborhood is space! Our home is larger than most in the area and has lots of space indoors and outdoors for you to enjoy.Our spacious 3 bed home will accommodate 8 people easily! There's 1 queen bed in the master, 1 double bed in the second bedroom, 2 twins in the third bedroom, and a double aero bed is available for the living area (which is has a door for privacy).

If you drive in, there is one covered parking spot available plus ample street parking.

If you fly in, you can grab a bus, taxi, or shuttle from the airport (we are about 10 minutes from the airport).

The light rail and bus stops are only blocks away. However, most of Austin's hot spots, they are only a bike ride away. Bike and scooter rentals are available close by as well.

The Nicest Host I Have Ever Had!!!

Our trip got off to a rough start as our original host, Gary H, cancelled on us the day we arrived in Austin. Luckily, Sunee's place was made available and see got it together for us in no time! Her house was in a great location and easily walkable to some great cafes and brunch spots. The home had everything we needed and then some! Would definitely recommend staying here anytime when visiting Austin! Thanks Sunee!

My husband and I are native to Louisiana, but have been in Austin the last 11 years. We love it here! Austin is a great city to call home.

We love to travel. I love finding cool places to stay on VRBO too and have never been disappointed. Our favorite place to go is Southeast Asia. We've spent quite a bit of time in Thailand, partially because I'm half Thai.

We love movies, reading, cooking, but more than anything we love hanging out with our family and friends. We love opening up our home to people and hope you'll love our house as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We purchased this home to be closer to our community of friends and to be closer to downtown Austin husband works. Living in an urban setting has been surprisingly different in a positive way. In the suburbs where we lived before, everyone drove in, closed the garage door, and kept to themselves. Here we are friends almost all of our neighbors and love our friendly neighborhood.

What makes this property unique

We love our house because we have made it our own. It was a boring box when we started, but we've put our little touches throughout. The biggest "touch" we've done is adding a carport roof deck-- 600 sq ft off the master bedroom. It's definitely our go to hang out spot!
