Great location for kids

We had a wonderful time. The screened in porch was great. Pros: nice owners, clean, comfy, affordable, right on the lake and across from playground. Cons: no dishwasher or washer dryer and one bed wasn’t too comfy for my mom who stayed with us. We would definitely book again though! We all had a wonderful time.

Black Mountain escape

Grandma's cabin was perfect for our vacation. My fur baby was also welcome. The property owners were wonderful and considerate, they advised us the safest places to walk my dog, gave ideas for places to visit and eat. Another plus was very quick internet! Kitchen was well stocked and the towels were very fluffy:) Wishing the owners the best of luck!

We have owned and run our own vacation rental since 1992. We've had properties on the beach and now in the mountains. We used to vacation in Lovely Black Mountain for seven years before moving here permanently in 2013. We love the way the valley seems to give us a hug and just say ahhhhh every day that we awake here!
