Wonderful views and location! Franco is #1 Host

We enjoyed another wonderful stay here and made more happy memories. Our first visit was in 2018. Franco is a great host. Very attentive and helpful. The wine, fruit, water, etc was most appreciated. The views are breathtaking from the house and the patio is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine. The house is walking distance to the entrance of the walled city of Cortona.

Cortona Gate

Tranquil place with beautiful views of the area just outside the walls of Cortona. We stayed for 2 weeks and the house was a peaceful place to return to after busy days of touring Tuscany. Everything we needed was provided. It is a nice walk into Cortona and we enjoyed the walk. Franco was a great host and left us fresh fruit, wine, water and juice when we arrived. He recommended restaurants and shops in Cortona which we went to. The museum was excellent-another of his recommendations. Thank you Franco-we appreciated your recommendations and your place.

La Casina Rossa

Great view, not far from the old town of Cortona. The two rooms give you enough place to give you a pleasant stay (especially during a heat period outside, the airconditioning works well). The only downside is the nearby street with some traffic. On the other hand I could blend it out quite good after some days. Il Signor Rossi was so kind to bring me to the house with his car by arrival and brought me back to the trainstation upon departure at the end! Generally a recommendation!

Petite maison pour petit séjour

Petite maison à deux pas de Cortona à pied, ce qui est un sacré avantage. Cependant, l'accès en voiture est ardu et réservé aux petits modèles - sinon, se garer dans un des parkings voisins. L'appartement est petit, propre, avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée. Dommage que les petits extérieurs ne soient pas vraiment attirants et que la déco soit surchargée de petites choses inutiles. La communication avec Franco est excellente ! Bref, pour quelques jours c'est un bon point de chute quand on se balade dans cette superbe Toscane !

Beautiful little house with amazing views

Perfect base for us to enjoy Cortona and all the beautiful towns and cities in Tuscany. We found Franco so kind and welcoming with lots of recommendations for seeing the area. The views watching the sunset from the balcony were just stunning. Great memories, Would definitely recommend.

e' stata la casa che mi ha permesso di vivere da solo la mia giovinezza in maniera indipendente e , piccola ma confortevole, fuori da Cortona ma allo stesso tempo dentro ,piacevoli serate da solo e in compagnia con un contorno di panorama senza fine lontananza le luci di Montepulciano ,Pienza, Monte S, Savino .Lucignano,di giorno la vetta del Monte Amiata, la meravigliosa Valdichiana,il sole preso sul terrazzzo,i buoni libri la bella musica ascoltata sono e restano dei bellissimi ricordi legati a questa casa e sono sicuro che chi avra' la possibilita' di venirci da solo o in compagnia potra' assaporare queste piacevoli sensazioni..
