Great Family Getaway

Great family getaway! This is a huge resort with many condo/apartment buildings on premise, many pools, children’s activities. ***** BOOK DIRECT , & save money!!!!! I was in a hurry and could have saved over $200 a day if I had booked direct through Westgate Lakes Resort website, or you can call a customer service representative. ESPECIALLY if you are a Florida resident (which I am ) or a Georgia resident. Receive extra discounts ! Very clean , happy & FUN staff- always a Bonus . Great location ,… 5 minutes from sea world which is where we went . If you are traveling with a large family with kids , the Golden Coral Buffet is only 10 minutes away and was a pleasant experience . 🥰👍🏻

West gate Resort and spa

Do not book this resort unless you are desperate like we were! We ended up booking this place because our original house was canceled at the last minute. It’s a pretty place and kept up outside. The biggest issue I had was everything we did cost money! I had to pay 19.00 dollars a day for amenities for which there were none! My grandson wanted to play basketball,there was a fee, puttputt afee. Paddle boat same. Also there was a water park which was 20 a person. Thank god there were several pools for grands kids. Hopefully if you have lots of money to pay all this stuff or you’ll have to be happy swimming !

Westgate Villas is a place for people with young kids. .

The unit was nice . The Amenities on the property closes at 6-7pm on Saturday night . The unit did not have a frying pan or pot holders or hair dryer. It’s nice if you have little kids. We would have like a place for more adults .

Great resort and amenities

The room was spacious and clean. However, the sales staff was too aggressive; called everyday to invite me to their sales presentation. The hotel staff did not explain the resort amenities upon check in, so we missed out on those.
