Starting January 1, 2013, the Taormina City Council passed the Accommodation Tax by law.
The by-law sets the requirement for the application, collection and remittance of 1.00 Euro per person, per night.
The above is applicable for stays up to 10 nights (also if not consecutive).

Children aged between 0 and 11 years are not required to pay.

The accommodation tax must be paid by the guest upon check-out.
