About Richard Tudor
Your hosts are Richard and Ann. Richard is the main contact and is always very keen to make sure you enjoy your stay. Always get in touch if you have problem. Don't worry if you feel silly asking something you think you should know. If you have a question or problem just phone or text us. We have been holiday letting our apartment for 8 years, updating the decor, equipment and furniture regularly. It is just round the corner from our home so provided we aren't away we can be round in a few minutes. If we are away then we have a team of helpers who can step in. We also have a holiday cottage in Barmouth so if you fancy a few days on the Welsh coast after your visit to Shrewsbury then please get in touch.

Why Richard Tudor chose Shrewsbury
We enjoy living in Shrewsbury town centre and enjoy city breaks ourselves so when this property came on the market it seemed like a perfect business plan. the parking space was a big bonus as parking can be difficult in the town centre. It is absolutely bang slap in the town centre. Not 10 minutes walk away, right there so this makes it an ideal option for a few days enjoying what the town can offer which is lots of history shops and masses of cafes, bars and restaurants. It punches well above its size in terms of options for eating.

Considering this flat is so close to the centre of Shrewsbury, it remained quiet both day and night being tucked away down a side street. Parking would be essential as very difficult in Shrewsbury. Would recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Shrewsbury and not use their car whilst there,
Trip to Shrewsbury
Had a fab time in Shrewsbury. Apartment is in a great location. Richard was really helpful and responds to queries and questions quickly.
Lots of info about Shrewsbury in the apartment which was also really helpful
Very clean and comfortable apartment. So close to the town centre so was fab for shopping and eating out.
Great location. Easy walking to shopping and tourist attractions. Shrewsbury has many great pubs and restaurants. The Coach and Horses next door had great food and you can’t beat the location. Every thing you need is in the flat. We will stay again when next in the area.
We keep wanting to come back
Each year we spend a week in Shrewsbury because it’s such a beautiful market town and with great restaurants all close by this accommodation. Very central with car parking included it’s very clean I highly recommend a stay here. Thank you Richard for allowing us to stay and to return each year.
Great location with parking space in town centre
Good ground floor flat with all you could need. 2 minute walk to river or high street. Easy access arrangements with property owners. My only criticism would be to get the top sash windows working being on the ground floor feel a little open to people walking past only being able to use the bottom. Also the bathroom is in need of a refresh, I personally feel people look for hotel quality these days. Also there’s extra maintenance needed with an interior bathroom with no exterior window .
The apartment is right in the middle of Shrewsbury. We have lots of quirky independent shops plus all the usual chain stores, with a new Primark, opened in July 2017. The town is full of restaurants and bars. It is easy to walk round with lots to see and do. The Quarry Park in the town centre, with the River Severn snaking through is a lovely walk, and just minutes from our apartment. Further afield Ironbridge is about 15 miles away. Shropshire is great walking country especially around Church Stretton. There are many pretty villages and towns to visit. We suggest Ludlow and Bishops Castle. Wales is very close, the border being 20 miles away. A train journey to the Welsh coast is a great way to enjoy the scenery. Why not visit Barmouth where we have a lovely holiday cottage to rent - www.barmouthholidays.co.uk.
