Bright and sunny - lots of natural light. Open concept living room, dining room, kitchen. 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, sleeps 10.

All near everything the Poconos has to offer. Venture out for all the outdoor or indoor adventure you could want!
Or stay back and relax. Enjoy your getaway home, the deck, the grounds and Indian Mountain Lake pools, lakes, beaches, and scenic beauty. Holiday Rates Apply to ALL HOLIDAYS. Please Remember your Linens or Ask about our rental program. Quiet time is 11pm-8am.
We have 2 night minimum in summer and all bookings must be 7 days in advance for community notification and access, thank you for understanding. Front door has a security camera which faces front door & driveway.

Fantastic mountain retreat

This property was very cozy and warm. We loved the setup of the four bedrooms (since we could accommodate our adult children in the event they were able to join us )and each one was very cozy and had a tv. The living area had a great set up for us to all hang out around the gas fireplace which was a great plus. The neighborhood was great for taking walks and so was the close location to HIckory Run State Park where we went to hike and see a waterfall. The internet was a bit spotty at times and the cable tv wasn't always working properly and we were thinking that it may have been because we were in the mountains. The kitchen was a nice size but the pots/pans were a bit worn and could use to be updated a bit. Overall, we had a wonderful Christmas retreat in this very relaxing Pocono mountain house. We even had two deer right outside our front door which made for a great photo op. Kim was very responsive to any of our needs which made our stay at their chalet a great one!

Pocono Chalet Memorial Day Weekend Getaway

First I'll summarize the weekend. Rain, rain, rain, and more rain. Obviously no fault of the owner. With that said, we really had no choice but to spend time in the house. All the lakes, tennis courts, pools, etc were pretty useless to us because of the weather. The house was comfortable and as advertised. 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths were more than enough for us. The BBQ was brand new and we grilled steaks, burgers, veggies, etc without issue. Due to the excessive rain we didn't get to use the firepit. We did make great use of the gas fireplace since it was a cold, wet weekend. The fireplace warmed up the chalet nicely. The living room and 2 of the bedrooms had 4K HD TV's with Netflix. Very cool. We had to clean the oven because it was setting off smoke detectors when we used it. Once cleaned, the detectors stopped going off. No big deal. Air hockey table worked fine. The house could use a coat of paint and a new cleaning service as we did a way better job of vacuuming, dusting, laundry, and counter tops than their cleaning service. No big deal as we would have done it anyway living in a Covid world. The owner, Kim, was wonderful to work with and got back to me quickly with answers to any question I had. All in all we had a fantastic time. I just wish the weather could have been better to enjoy all the amenities offered. I would stay here again. Thanks Kim!

Great stay!

The location was perfect for our stay and visit to Jim Thorpe. Glenn and Kim were absolutely wonderful to work with. Very helpful to a new VRBO user. The house provided plenty of space for 6 adults and was very clean. Recommend using this property if you are visiting the area.

Great Rental in Lake Community

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Pocono Chalet and taking advantage of all of the community amenities. We spent time swimming, fishing, playing tennis, playing board games, watching movies and enjoying area nature hikes and bike rides. The house was fully equipped for our stay and offered even more benefits than described. Our kids loved the themed rooms too. Kim and Glenn provided all of the information we needed and were great to work with. We would gladly stay here again.

Overall it was a great experience. The house was really confortable and the amenities included with the access to the community were amazing. Kim was really helpful also answering any questions. The only feedback that I could give to the owners is that the house could be a little cleaner. There were parts of the house that were really dusty. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this house. We are looking forward to come back anytime soon.

Good location

Great rental for a large family! The lake and pool are both just few minutes away. Kids absolutely loved spending a whole week there. As mentioned by previous renters we had second thoughts about the property because of outdated TV sets. All TV sets were upgraded to smart ones after we contacted the owners. Streaming favorite cartoons for our kids was a breeze! Contacting the owners was fast and easy. We will definitely consider renting this property again in the future. Thank you.

Quaint home with great access to nearby activities. Clean and functional, but very basic and outdated furnishings. Could use some fresh paint, carpet, furniture, and mattresses. Gated resort community with oddly tight security measures.

Nice and cozy . not bigger as we thought. TV is so old. Nothing can be done from it. Rooms are smaller. Living room is wonderful. Only minus thing in living room is TV and sound system. If it was the case this is the perfect living room. Done through a 3rd party rentor...so many complicated procedures. Documents etc. Security deposit can be redeemed only after 45 days. That is so not cool. No toiletries provided. That was in the contract too.

My brother (& wife) built what we call today The Pocono Chalet Vacation Home. We purchased it from them with the intent of sharing it with other families/friends as a Vacation Rental & Getaway from it All Destination. The home is just a short trip from our home towns of Philadelphia, PA and NYC. We've had so much fun throughout the Poconos & Hope that All of Our Guests Enjoy their time while visiting us and create wonderful memories!

Why they chose this property

My brothers family was ready for a new adventure, so when we found out it was available for sale, we jumped at the chance. We had spent many long weekends w family & friends in the area and loved All the Poconos had to offer. Local wineries, interesting

What makes this property unique

The home was built in 2005 with stunning 16 foot cathedral ceilings, open wood beams and large scenic windows, this home has nice wooded views and plenty of sunlight! The stone fireplace is ready to go All Winter for additional ambiance and heat. There's also more seating in the loft area w a single sofa bed for an extra sleeping space or just reading nook and a nap. The Big Boulder Lake is just a 3-4 minute drive or a 15-18 minute walk. The Indian Mountain Lake also offers multiple lakes (swimming, fishing, scenic 5 Lakes all together), several beaches, outdoor seasonal pool, tennis and basketball courts, and beauty all around!
