Look no further, you have found the perfect vacation rental! Welcome to Bear River Lodge, the vacation home that will check something off everyone’s list!

Bear River Lodge is located in Center Conway, NH. This beautiful log cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and sleeping for 8 people. The main level includes an open concept living room with gas stove and large TV, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and dining area, bedroom with queen bed (sleeps 2), bedroom with queen bed (sleeps 2) and bathroom with shower. As an added convenience, on the main level you will also find a washing machine and dryer. The spacious master bedroom is located upstairs with a king bed (sleeps 2) and has its own private full bathroom. In the finished basement you will find a large family room with pull out sofa (sleeps 2) and bar area with large flat screen TV.

Step outside and you will find a large screened in porch, spacious deck for sunbathing and grilling, a private hot tub, fire pit and a private in ground swimming pool! (POOL IS NOT HEATED) There is also a grassy yard, perfect for lawn games.

There is a lot to love about this vacation rental and it is only a 10 minute drive from North Conway!

LAYOUT:

MAIN LEVEL: Open concept living room, kitchen and dining area. Bedroom with queen bed, bedroom with queen bed and full bathroom with shower off the hallway.

SECOND LEVEL: Master bedroom with King bed and full bathroom.

FINISHED BASEMENT: Family room with queen size pullout sofa, 2 person sauna.

AMENITIES INCLUDE: Private swimming pool (NOT HEATED) & fire pit (summer only) fire pit use requires a permit, hot tub (installed fall 2018), cable TV, internet, dish washer, washing machine, air conditioning (main level living are and master bedroom) and gas grill.

Overall

Very musty basement. Couldn't sleep down there due to the overwhelming odor. Master bedroom is a king not a queen as listed . fantastic location!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: overall it was not a bad stay but the no carpet in the finished basement area and having a water leak from the dishwasher made it disappointing. also we have never stayed anywhere that we had to bring our own sheets for the beds and if we did not make a call before we got there we would have never even known. It just so happen that someone mentioned it when we made a call to ask a question reguarding something else. when your spending over 4000 dollars for a 3 day stay would just expect a little more luxury than what it was.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is perfect! So much to do, pool and hot tub were super clean. Everything was as described on the listing. The addition of all the board games and cards were a pleasant surprise as well! Would definitely recommend this place as will likely stay here again!

Conway NH getaway

What a great home for a family vacation! The combination of the inground pool and a nice hot tub made for a great time for the adults and kids alike. The pool was great but be prepared that the water will likely be very cold as it is unheated and you're in NH after all. After the initial shock we found it did not deter us from using it regularly, especially the kids who did not want to get out after they got used to it. The hot tub was a great way to finish off the day, very relaxing. The master bedroom/suite was great for us, mattress is on the firm side but was in good shape. Nice open concept kitchen, dining and family room. My only two minor critiques are one of the couches has outlived it's useful life (orange couch), it was stained and smelly. That said, there were two other couches that were fine and we didn't necessarily need the 3rd. But it's time to replace or remove the orange one. Second minor critique is having to bring your trash off site to the dumpster at check in location was a hassle. When you have a few kids generating trash and a fully loaded vehicle on your departure date, full trash bags were the last thing I wanted to pack in the vehicle. Those couple items were minor in the grand scheme of things and we all had great memories and opinions this vacation house!
