Kid Friendly:
Our home was designed to accommodate young children and is equipped with a travel crib, high chair/booster, double stroller, stools, toys, books, and pool and sand toys. All beds have waterproof mattress and pillow covers. The dining table, coffee table, and countertops are child friendly (no need to worry about spills, scratches, etc). The couch is fully washable. Very few breakable items -- those that are present can easily be moved to higher positions. The yard is fully fenced with padlock. A pool/spa child security fence is available upon request for an additional charge.
Interaction with Guests:
We are available 24/7 to assist and will try to respond in a timely manner. We can be contacted by phone, text and email.
Getting Around:
A car is recommended. Bicycles are available for rent at a number of local businesses. On the weekend you can access a free shuttle four blocks from the house that runs up and down the main strip of Palm Springs and brings you downtown. Uber and cabs are also available.
Arriving and departing:
Check-in is 4PM and check-out is 11AM. However, we are very willing to try to offer an early or late check-in at no additional cost if our schedule permits (for example if we don't have back-to-back bookings and can get the house cleaned in time). Please inquire in advance about an early check-in or late check-out and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Safety:
Hard-wired smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. First aid kit and fire extinguisher.
Other things to note:
Palm Springs has noise ordinances that are strictly enforced: 1) no amplified outdoor music at any time and 2) outdoor noise must be limited to a whisper after 10pm. Our home is ideal for relaxation with family and friends, but is not meant to be a party home. Special events like weddings are not allowed. We are registered as a vacation rental with the city of Palm Springs, ID#3303.
