The pool will open for the 2024 season on Thursday May 9 and will close for the season Monday September 23.

Private year-round escape perfect for getaways and family gatherings. Spacious newer six bedroom home on wooded acreage that surrounds a sunny fenced yard with safety fenced in-ground swimming pool. Completely private and secluded but only a short drive to beach towns and many local attractions.

This property is not available for weddings, parties or high school/college events. The minimum age to rent the property is 27.

Six bedrooms including bunk room perfect for kids with full + twin bunk bed sets. Large game room / home theater opens on to screened porch with living area overlooking the woods and backyard pool.

The in-ground pool with tables, umbrellas and chaise lounge chairs is in a large fenced back yard with kids' play area and great afternoon sun exposure. The yard is surrounded by dense woods that offer complete privacy.

Across the street is a lakefront nature preserve; down the street is the trailhead of a walking path through the coastal habitat to a Lake Michigan beach. One mile away is West Side County Park, with amenities that include a playground, public beach, restrooms, and lawn area / playing field. The charming towns of Douglas, Saugatuck, Fennville, and South Haven are a short drive away.

The house has multiple living areas. The main house has a three bedroom/two bath main floor area with open kitchen/living/dining room, large closed in deck for group dining, laundry room and large main suite. Downstairs is an expansive game room and den with ping pong and foosball tables, a 65" TV and three sofas, a bunk room that sleeps 10 with private bath, plus a half bath and a large screened porch with outdoor living area that overlooks the pool. Attached and accessible from either inside the house, through the garage or separate outdoor entrances is a two bedroom, one bath apartment with its own open kitchen/dining/living area, washer/dryer and private screened porch.

After the reservation is confirmed by Vrbo, guest and host will execute a separate rental agreement. This is required by my insurance company and should not contain any surprises.

Large group of college friends getting together

We had 15+ people get together for a Friday-Sunday trip and it was fantastic! The house was very clean, the check in/out process was easy, and the host was very accommodating and responsive. The house is well stocked with cutlery, kitchen tools, shampoo/conditioner, towels, etc. If there is something you need the house likely has it. The beds were comfortable and the bunk room was great to hold a large group of us. We had a lot of fun playing ping pong. We visited in March so the pool wasn’t open and it was too snowy to use the grill or outdoor patio, but all of that looked lovely. I would highly recommend staying here for families with young kids or as a group of adults.

Leadership Retreat

Mike and Michelle do an amazing job! Great place for a retreat. Everything is up to date. Furniture and beds are comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. We love the place! It was our 3rd stay. Planning on staying hear for our retreat next year.

Perfect for large family gatherings

The house worked beautifully for our large family reunion! The primary bedroom is spacious, the apartment was perfect for the family with 18 month old twins and the bunk and game rooms were a big hit for the tweens in the group. We enjoyed having family meals at the large table comfortable for our group of 16. Owner very responsive. Highly recommend this property.

Family wedding

This property was fantastic! Pictures of inside and out were accurate, house was clean, nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable for all. Everyone that stayed loved it! The “dining hall” was perfect for meal time as well as game time! Wished we could have stayed longer in preset to take advantage of the great backyard as well. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!!

Christmas gift getaway

We had a wonderful stay, at this amazing home with gorgeous property. The entire family enjoyed the time spent there, making memories. Just a short drive to several area highlights. Retro boats, Saugatuk dune rides, and Dunes state park to list a few. Loved every minute of our getaway.
